Chapter One

-Alexis's P.O.V-

I wake up and realize I slept in. "Crap!" I said as I got out of my bed and ran into my bathroom to brush my teeth. I come back to my room and get dressed. I wear black leggings, a white tank top, and a red flannel. I was straightening my hair when I get a text from Ethan. (You Ready?) Ethan always gave me a ride to school because he had a car and I didn't. (Ya I'll be there in a sec). I shut my phone off and put it in my pocket. Then I picked up my bag and ran downstairs. "Bye Mom!" "Oh! Bye hunny" She said. I ran outside and got in Ethan's Blue Jeep. Grayson was in the front so I sat in the back. "Hey Alex" Ethan said. "Hi Eth" you said with a smile on your face. "Hey what about me?" Grayson asked. "Oh sorry hey Gray". "Yeah that's what I thought" he said as he turned around and winked at me. "What was that?"I thought. I thought of Gray as a friend and nothing more, same with I think Ethan. But I was confused sometimes cause Grayson and Ethan started acting weird around me ever since summer ended. "You ready for our Halloween sleepover Alex?" Ethan asked and it woke me up from my deep thought. "Huh? oh yeah definitely I can't wait." Me and the Twins have always had a Halloween sleepover every year since we were kids. We make a fort in their living room and watch scary movies all night... We pull into school and I see the group of bullies that are always waiting for us when we get to school. Julia and her squad of brats, along with her boyfriend James who hangs out with his low life friends. "Can we park in the back?" Grayson asks "No, we need to show them that they don't bother us." Ethan says and Grayson rolls his eyes and mentally prepares himself for what is about to happen. I hate seeing Grayson so stressed out but Ethan is right we need to show them that we don't care. We get out of the car and almost walk past the group without them seeing us but we didn't suceed. James screams at Grayson"Hey Gracie! Nice hat where did you get it your girlfriend?" James points at me and Grayson says "Shut up James shes not my girlfriend." Ethan stands next to Grayson and says "James why don't you and your low life friends leave us alone and go bully someone else." I stood there in shock. They never stand up to James. James steps back in shock. "Was I talking to you Ethie. No I don't think I was, so why don't you and your idiot brother take your slut and go to class." Ethan heard him call me a slut and he turned red he ran at him and punched him and James fell to the ground. Ethan was on top of him and me and Grayson ran over and tried to take him off James. He wouldn't get off him and started pounding his face. Ethan screamed "DON'T CALL HER A SLUT!" I couldn't believe it. Ethan was standing up for me and Grayson. I looked over at Grayson and I could see that he couldn't believe it either. I see the principal walk down the steps of school and coming near the fight...
