1946 - Donna's 6yr Paper entry. (Words are purposely misspelled)

I miss mommy and daddy. They left me here and said they were going to come back in a year. Its bad here. They don't like me. They think Im 12 but I'm eleven. This one woman I accidentally hit with a fork, she started bleeding. I don't know why but it made me happy to see her on the ground.

Police station

"Mrs. Kandertlaal, this is a journal entry from 26 years ago. Remember? You admit to stabbing someone with a fork. Is this lady still alive? Mrs. Kandertlaal? Mrs.Kandertlaal?"

Kandertlaals dream
*echoes* I killed a woman. Did you kill this woman? I miss mommy and daddy.
*sudden wake up*

What the hell? What just happened? Where am I?
"The police station, are you okay Mrs. Kandertlaal?" "Call me Donna." "Is that your real name?" "I told you, I don't know my real name." "So, you want me to call you Donna?" "Its not rocket science." "With you. It is." He said
"I'm Paul, by the way, that piece of crap's partner. I know he's a pain in the butt, he's just doing his job." His eyes were glistening, beautiful, handsome man I must say. Also a gentleman with a sense of humor." "Can we go out to dinner? You seem to be a very attractive 37 years old if I may add. " "Yeah." "Date it may be then." Him with that asshole partner of his. Surprising.

Dinner with Paul

"So are you really 37 because you look nowhere near 40." "I don't know how old I am actually." "Mysterious. I like it. Do you know anything about yourself?" "No my memories flash back to me occasionally, but I've had long term amnesia. And I don't remember basic identification things. But I do remember basic life things, like math. Weird." "No, it is not. You're beautiful, the way you are. Surprising how you asked me to call you Donna. Since you spaced out and passed out when we were reading that letter. Did you write it?" He asked and continued to eat. "I don't recall." "So you could be 21 or 27 for all we know and you know?" He asked "Basically." "Huh."

2nd day of interrogation - Lunchroom Paul and Detective Greene

"Greene," said Paul. "What's up to Paul." "She didn't write it, Donn- er  - Mrs. Kandertlaal." "What do you mean" "She's 24, she wouldn't have been born yet." "Then, who's Donna?" "When Mrs. K was admitted she had the room of a patient that wrote a suicide letter before committing suicide. K found the letter and wrote on the back but erased it, you could see erase marks and fingerprints but not enough amateur erasing to make out what it says. She was crazy but she had amnesia as a little girl, no way she could remember killing someone or doing it in that specific time. She said all that stuff to scare you off. To make you leave her alone. I think her capabilities are lower that what we thought and what she thinks." "Is she now a POI or just a thrown away suspect?" "She's a POI" "Get me the name of that girl, see if that's Donna. I'm gonna talk to Mrs. K"

1962 - K is 13 yrs old in the hospital
"Taylin, you must take your medicine." "Do you know who wrote this?" I asked. "Just take your medicine." "No. who wrote this?" "Kate Kandertlaal, a girl that committed suicide 16 years ago. " "Who's Donna?" "A 6yr old girl was related to that girl. She came into her room and saw her sister dead and wrote about what she did to Ms. Kathy, an old worker here she did after being stabbed by Donna." "How do you know all this?" I asked. "I was there. I'm Ms.Kathy, Donna thought she killed me, but Mr. Klaus got here early enough. I lost a lot of blood, but I survived. She didn't stab me with a fork, she stabbed me with a knife, she thought that because she was only six and had very little recollection of what happens 10 to 20 minutes ago." "Did you kill Donna?" "No. Her dad killed her. She was shot at 12 but barely survived. She needed life support, but since her dad shot her, he decided to pull the plug." "Is he still alive?" "Yes. Never died." "Are you sure?" "Not certain." I took the pill and she told me not to worry. I felt his presence like he bugged the room while she said that. So I put the letter back on page 27 of the book on the shelf and slept.
