Today was the day. The day I, Diana Prince, am going to marry Steve Trevor. The love of my life. We weren't having a big ceremony. Just Charlie, Sameer, Etta, Chief, Hippoltyla, and a few of my friends from Themiscrya. "You look beautiful and it's now time."Etta said. I grinned and practically ran out the door the the doors that led to Steve.
I heard the piano play a tune and my mother began to walk me down the aisle. I saw Steve at the end of the aisle and he was beaming at me. We're those tears I saw? When I finally got to the end, I was almost to happy tears. I smiled at Steve and he grinned back. He immediately held my hands in his.
"I see that you guys really want this to be done quickly so we will skip to the vows. Diana, you may start." The priest said. I nodded and took a breath.
"Steve, the first time I met you, I didn't know what or who you were. What I did know was that I was in for an adventure. And I was right. Being with you these weeks have made me realize that here's more to life than preparing for war. There's a thing called love. And it's a wonderful thing.! Every time I look into your eyes, I get lost in them and forgot everything around but you. I don't know where I'd be right now if it weren't for your protection and love Steve Trevor."I said. When I finished, Steve and everyone else were in tears. Steve looked me in the eye and grinned.
"Diana...wow you look amazing today. When you saved me on the island that day, I knew there was something special about you. You have this affect on me. All you have to do is breathe and I lose my focus. I hate that I had to endanger our love by blowing up a plane but, I had to. But all I could think about was you the whole time. You are graceful, strong, independent, protective, beautiful, amazing and much more. I could talk for eternity about you. I love you Diana." Steve finished. I was full on crying happy tears when he finished. I held his hands tighter and he smiled at me.
