Steve

As I pointed he gun behind me and looked beyond the windshield of the plane, I hesitated. All I could think about was Diana. My Diana. Oh how I'll miss her. I really hope she understands I had to do this. If I didn't, London would be a ghost city. And I can't let that happen.

I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger. It exploded and I was thrown into the night. I could see Diana fighting and how she was kicking Ares ass. I smiled. Ever since that day she saved me, I have fallen madly in love with this woman. I would give anything to be with her right now and forever.

Diana finally defeated Ares and looked my way. Her eyes widened and she made a beeline for me. She did that inhuman jump and grabbed me. She grinned at me and safely landed back to where she was before. I set my feet on the ground and hugged her tightly.

"Your incredible."I mumbled into her neck. She laughed. I heard sets of footsteps running our way and we pulled apart. "STEVE! Your alive!"Charlie yelled somewhat dancing. "I knew that this wouldn't go wrong."Sameer said smiling. "Glad your here Steve."Chief said. I smiled at the three men. They have been my side for ages. I would have missed them along with my Diana.

"Where is Diana?"Charlie asked. I looked over and she wasn't there. We panicked for a few minutes before we finally spotted her knelt over a suit of armor. I walked over to her and pulled her to my side. She buried her face into my chest. Even with her boots she's still short compared to me.

"I finally killed him. Steve, everything's gonna be okay now."She said.

That was an understatement.
