"Sherlock"

Sherlock didn't react but carried on twiddling with the microscope instead.

"Sherlock"

"What Mycroft"

"Its time to go"

The young Sherlock looked up. He was only 11, but yet his 15 year old brother deemed him as an adult.

"Fine"

Sherlock swung his legs off his stall and picked up his small bag. He turned and looked at his room for the final time. It was a small room, a simple single bed in the corner with a blue cover. A single window opened up to a field allowing light to grace the wall. Next to this was a desk, a single microscope stood alone while a book laid open beside it.

"Sherlock, come on now"

"Ok Mycroft"

The two boys descended the stairs and gave their parents a hug.

"Sherlock behave"

Their mother was a small woman with kind brown eyes and long grey hair tied back in a ponytail. She wore a big knitted cardigan and hugged her boys. "just try to last more than a term"

Sherlock gave a small giggle and hugged his mother tightly.

"See ya mum"

"Oi you"

His dad picked him up and hugged him tight. Like Sherlocks mother , he too had greying hair and kind eyes except he possessed sharp cheekbones, something which Sherlock had inherited.

"Keep sane Sherlock , I told your bother to take care of you but i think you'll end up taking care of him"

"Please dad, Mycroft is taking his GCSE's this year, as if he is going to need me"

His dad put him down and ruffled Sherlocks already messy hair.

"Just trust me"

With a final hug Sherlock bounced out the door to join his brother in the car.

"See ya later guys!!"

Sherlock leant out the window and shouted back to his parents.

Mycroft sighed and sat back in his seat."why can't you behave like an adult Sherlock?"

The younger sat back down and huffed.

"Because Im not one Mycroft thats why"

Sherlock looked outside. He was finally going to school, not just any school , the best boarding school, free of charge because of his brain power.... and he couldn't wait.
