A few hours after Sherlock and John had seen Moriarty being frog marched out the school by his parents and two police officers a tiny knock was heard at the door.

As the boys turned around in stepped a shaken but relieved Molly. At the sight of them she ran into their arms " Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou !!"

"you are the best friends I could ask for and absolute heroes!!"

As the trio separated they all gave a giggle.

"at least you've got a break from this place Molly , 3 weeks for Christmas , Oh the perks of going to an independent school ! " John remarked as he collapsed on his bed.

"ahh its three weeks then we will all be back together again" Sherlock added.

"True" Molly sighed as she joined sherlock who was slumped across his bed.

The trio remained silent till Molly broke the silence.

"please say the school have offered you two some kind of reward"

Sherlock and John laughed.

"They tried! But I didn't fancy the title of honorary prefect"

"me neither" John added " too much effort"

Molly giggled, Boys!!

A few hours later, the three were stood outside the gates waiting to be picked up.

Mycroft tapped Sherlock on the shoulder. "come on"

Sherlock sighed and turned around to his friends. " Ill see ya in Janurary then"

John smiled and hugged his friend goodbye and after the two had separated Molly gave Sherlock the hardest hug he had ever received.

"thank you so much sherlock, for everything"

Sherlock smiled. "Merry Christmas Molly Hooper"

"Merry Christmas Sherlock Holmes"

John smiled. " I hope this never breaks up , our little group"

"me neither" Molly and Sherlock agreed.

" SHERLOCK HURRY UP"

Sherlock rolled his eyes and dashed after his brother.

After one silent ride home Sherlock was engulfed by his mother and father who asked him countless questions. Before Sherlock answered any of them however , he ran upstairs and hung a photo up.

There stood three people.

John Sherlock and Molly in the snow, blue scarfs wrapped around them , coats zipped up , all with their arms around each other.

That photo now resides in 221B Baker street in Sherlocks bedroom, he looks at it every day, never forgetting the time he met his friends that would stay with him all his life. Its the only possession John does not know about.
