Chapter 5

                              ~ Previously on 'The Abandoned Hallway' ~

"Yeah, not the worst I've been in remember?" Niall looks down. "Oh, right.." I look back at him. "So, why were you trying to get my attention?" By now all his friends walked away. "I just wanted to know what you thought about Zayn and Liam.""I can't believe they both are gay! Oh my god... NIALL, what if Zayn is pretending to be gay to hurt Liam?!?!" Niall's eyes are wide now. "Oh god, I never thought of it like that!"

~Louis' POV~

"Let's keep an eye on Liam. Just in case, you know?" Niall looks around nodding. We start heading into the school and we find everyone whispering. "Not again?!" Niall says. I look at him. I started laughing hysterically and then he started to. Once we calmed down i had Niall ask what they were whispering about now. "A lot of us are just surprised to see Tomlinson actually smiling for once..." I over heard Niall's friend say. Niall seemed to get really mad at that and he literally stomped away from his friends. "Niall... you alright..?" I say hesitantly.

"I just can't believe no one came to help you all these years!!" Niall basically yells. Everyone in the hall turns toward us. I try to calm Niall down but he won't. "No Louis alright! They can't even call you by your FIRST NAME! Some of the most outgoing people here couldn't even walk by you without cowering away because their afraid of getting hurt! And I thought I was a wuss..." I look down with a sad look on my face. "They knew Zayn would hurt them too Niall..." Niall just turns to everyone with a angry glare on his face.

"If a few would've spoken up maybe you wouldn't have been hurt and alone this whole time... and what did it take? The NEW KID!" By now everyone in the hallway look down. Ashamed that they never helped at all. I look up at Niall. "Niall.. can you please calm down and stop screaming and yelling...?" Niall looked at me. I could see his face soften and he walked up to me and hugged me. "I just can't believe no one helped such a nice and fun guy..."As soon as he said that I hugged him tighter. The bell rang to inform everyone to get to class and everyone did so.

~~~~LunchTime~~~~

It's finally lunchtime without any incidents...odd.. I went to my usual spot and then a few seconds later Niall sits with me. "Niall, you don't have to be away from your friends just to prove a point.." Niall's smile faltered. "Louis, they shouldn't be wusses then." He then looked around and his eyes widened. I looked at him with my head tilted (stupid habit..) and confusion on my face. He motioned for me to turn around and I did. What in the hell am I seeing right now? It was Zayn. Hair messy. Smile on his face and....laughter from his mouth. People not scared.

And Liam was as usual. His happy and sensitive self. I looked at the other people too and caught the breath-taking green eyes again. Except... they were staring back at me this time. I looked away a bit too fast. A dead give-a-way that I was nervous. My heart was beating like a cheetah's heart that just finished chasing down it's prey. (In hyper-drive if you don't understand). I looked at Niall in shock of the sight that was over there. He looked at me and he said "Yup. Definitely have to keep an eye on them now.." I nodded.

I glanced from the corner of my eye so it would be unnoticeable. The eyes... still locked on me.. I was so confused. Why are they staring at me? After that me and Niall ate lunch and just talked. We made plans to go to my place after school was done. I couldn't wait to finish classes. When the bell rang to go home... let's just say Niall was lying on my front lawn out of breath for a while. (We raced to my place)

Oh....my...gosh...

I apologize for not updating for so long..... my mum took away my laptop and I have been writing a lot of updates on my phone to publish. I won't publish them all at once though...sorry...
