The spirit flew through a gap in the thick forest, landing softly on the ground. She looked around, eyes narrowing.

'Where are they...', she thought to herself, moving from her standing position into a sprint, her wings folded up against her back. She drew her sword from its sheath and held it at ready, moving forward.

A crunching noise came from behind a nearby bush. She skidded to a halt and twisted around. A short hooded figure cautiously stood up behind the shrub. The spirit glided forward. The elf spotted her and squeaked, taking off in the opposite direction. She blew out a puff of fragrant air and started to give chase.

A dark blur flew past her, zipping between the trees and leaving a trail of petal-like glimmers. The spirit rose her eyebrows, holding up her now glowing sword and flying behind them.

This would be an interesting chase.

Whoop!
