Eren sat on a bench near the Science building as he waited for Armin to get out of class. Due to his helping babysit a celebrity Eren wasn't going to be assisting Levi until Farlan left town, so Eren didn't have to worry about anything getting in the way of his plans to completely move out of his parents home.

Letting his thoughts drift to the ravenette Eren felt like something was wrong. Levi hasn't acknowledge Eren's presence in any way since the Director's appearance in class on Tuesday.

Even when Erwin took Eren and Farlan to Levi's house Tuesday night Levi did little more than hand Eren a set of car keys for transporting Farlan to and from the school on occasion. Farlan even mentioned that Levi seemed more depressed than usual.

Eren hasn't even seen, let alone talked to, Levi since Tuesday night. He was assigned the Thursday class for Production but Ms. Magnolia taught class last night. Farlan insisted on staying with Levi all day today so Eren considered it a blessing to have no interruptions to his plans with Armin and moving out.

"Eren!!" The brunette looked up to see his blonde coconut running over.

"Hey Armin!" Eren smiled before his face fell.

"I-I'm sorry...Eren..." Armin stopped by his friend and scratched his cheek, "You know I'm a terrible liar so...I just...told her the truth..."

"Eren." Mikasa eyed Eren sternly and her voice was as collected and smooth as ever.

"Hey, Mikasa." Eren glared at Armin who clapped his hands in front of his face mouthing 'sorry'.

"Eren don't go through with this." Mikasa folded her arms.

"I have to."

"No. You don't." Mikasa's stern face hardened, "Your dad's a jerk, we all know that. But think about what this will do to your mom Eren. Your dad won't even be there as you carry your stuff out. But she will."

"I...know..." Eren sighed, "But don't try to stop me! I made up my mind and I'm going through with it, and if you're not willing to help me then just stay here! Come on Armin."

Eren grabbed his friend's wrist and dragged the boy towards the parking lot. Mikasa sighed and followed silently. The car ride to Eren's parent's house was filled with a heavy atmosphere. Nobody spoke.

"Thanks for driving Armin." Eren sighed looking at the house when they came to a stop, "This really shouldn't take long."

Armin and Eren got out of the car but Mikasa stayed seated with no sign of moving. Walking up to the house Eren pulled out his house key and opened the front door.

"Eren?" Carla's voice sounded from the kitchen.

"Hello Mrs. Yeager..." Armin greeted her as she came down the hall with a sad smile and Eren silently trudged up the stairs to his room.

Carla watched her son with a frown, "Why do I have the most stubborn men in my life?" She sighed, "I just made some lunch and cookies, please come have some Armin."

"Oh I'm alright Mrs. Yea..."

"I insist." Carla motioned toward the kitchen.

"Okay," Armin smiled genuinely but sadly, "um...c-can I go let Mikasa know? She's in the car..."

Carla smiled, "Please do! I'll get some plates set."

A little over an hour passes before Eren poked his head into the kitchen, "Alright that's everything." Eren announced looking at Armin and Mikasa as they sat chatting with Eren's mother, "Let's go."

"Sit and eat first Eren." Carla gestured to the untouched plate by Armin.

"I'm fine thanks."

"Eren my car isn't going anywhere until you eat." Armin looked at Eren stern.
