3)Describe about your journey on Wattpad.

My journey on Wattpad has been with ups and downs. Starting off as a reader and marvelling over how beautifully others wrote and put forth their work to being an author and presenting my imaginations to the world. Of course I had been criticised and I used to take it personally in the beginning but gradually I started to take criticism in a positive way and as a challenge to prove myself better than before.

4)How many stories have you written so far?

I have one completed story, one ongoing, one started off again with a perspective and two under major editing.

5)What do you think about Writers Having Pen name?

As JK Rowling has said 'A pen name is a writers best friend'. Thats why my pen name- Shabistaah. It meaning is related to feelings and emotions.Coming back to the question, i think that other people's merciless scrutiny of one's work can stifle the imagination. Like for example if I write with my real name, and some of the people I know personally happen to read my stories, they'll connect the instances mentioned there or I've written in it to my life or their life. Or maybe hold a grudge. People would always think you're writing about them even if you're not.A novel or a story is an expression of the self, so if someone hates it, you're forced to conclude that they hate you. It hurts. So I feel like having a pen name is liberating. It gives us the liberty to pen down our thoughts and imaginations without feeling chained about people judging us.
