The Long Lost Princess

Chapter 9~The Grand Ball

Few weeks went by and i was getting the hang of being princess,but the only thing i was worried about was sarah.

Emma : "Excuse me your highness but your bath is ready"

Sophia : "T..thank you"

The maid called emma she smiled at me then left the room,as she left the room i sat on the bed sighing a little then looking around my room.

Sophia : "It feels like a dream but it is real.."

I touched my fangs hoping it was a dream but it wasn't,getting up from the bed i headed to the royal bath area.

??? : "My lord are you awake"

??? : "yes i am what is it Sebastian?"

Sebastian : "Have you heard that a grand ball will be held tonight to celebrate the return of the princess"

The figure who had crimson red hair and was already dressed in his room,he then looked at sebastian but then grinned looking out of the window.

Sebastian : "Should i tell the young master aswell"

??? : "Do whatever you want"

Sebastian bowed then left the room,he walked down the hallway until a teenage boy with crimson red hair and sapphire blue eyes,wearing a simple white t-shirt,red pants and white sneakers.

Sebastian : "Ah young master matt i have news for you"

Matt : "And what is the news sebastian"

Sebastian : "A ball is going to be held tonight for the young princess's return"

Matt : "I am betting her family must be happy to have her back"

Sebastian : "Yes they are and you always liked the royal's didn't you"

Matt : "But of course so do you"

He smiled then proceeded to his room,sebastian knew he was right he always adored the royal family and when he heard the news that the young princess, was gone he was sad about it but kept it a secret.

Sophia : "Ah this feels so nice.."

I said to myself relaxing against the bath,just letting the warm luxury water soak through my body.

But while relaxing i clutched my head slightly,my throat was burning a little could this be thirst that my sister and brother told me.

Later on once finished in the royal bath,i sat on the bed in my room with a towel around my body as emma prepared my dress for the ball.

Emma : "Are you looking forward to the ball your highness"

Sophia : "I'm not really sure to be honest and please call me sophia"

Emma : "You don't have to worry your brother and sister will be with you"

It was later on that night that matt finished getting ready for the ball,he wore a white and red tuxedo also white gloves.

Matt : "I wonder what the young princess looks like"

He began to imagine what sophia might look like,he blushed deeply but then there was a knock on the door.

Matt : "C..come in"

Matt's father entered the room wearing a wealthy white tuxedo with matching assets,he looked at his son and grinned.

Stindlaski : "Look how stunning you are son"

He grinned then walked over to matt then began to sort his hair out,matt always wondered why did his father hated the royals.

Matt : "Father why do you hate the royals"

Stindlaski : "You will know one day but tonight i want you to get close to the young princess and seduce her"

Matt looked at his father with disgust,then walked out his father chuckled then followed behind him and out of the mansion getting into a carriage with him.

Lucinda : "Sophia you look so beautiful"

Daniel : "Like a true princess should look"

I looked in the mirror,and my eyes opened wide seeing the beautiful purple and blue dress with matching jewellery and a tiara on my head.

Once we left my room the three of us proceeded down the hallway,i was nervous badly and just wanted to run away just because of this night.

Daniel : "Don't worry sophia you will be great tonight"

Lucinda : "Plus we will be with you"

Both of them smiled and i smiled back lightly,as we arrived the double doors opened up once announced,lucinda first entered the ballroom then daniel and finally i followed behind.

Reaching the throne's we turned around lucinda and daniel greeted the guests with a smile,then after a few words the music began to play.

The guests began to dance with their partners,as i sat on the throne i looked around the ballroom it was so big and luxurious also breath taking as the music played softly.
