The Long Lost Princess

Chapter 14~Protection

The cloaked figure continued to make his way through the castle,but the guards could not stop him until he reached the throne room.

??? : "The princess should be hiding in here"

Lucinda : "Sorry but you have made a mistake"

A voice spoke out he turned his attention towards one of the pillar's,lucinda and daniel both walked out from behind the pillar with a cold look in their eyes.

??? : "Hmph you think you can stop me"

Daniel : "Oh you bet well then lets begin"

The cloaked figure smirked and unsheathed his sword,lucinda and daniel both made their swords appear in their hands.

I pushed narian away and ran out of the room,he sighed and chased after me to get me back as my fever hasn't broke through and i was still sick.

Narian : "Princess wait your still unwell!"

My vision began to go blurry,i stopped then leaned against the wall panting softly but then a voice spoke out.

Matt : "Princess Sophia!"

Sophia : "Y..you from the night before"

Matt : "Yes my name is Matt and it is a pleasure to meet you"

Sophia : "Like wise but please step aside..i must go and help them"

Before i took one step i collapsed but before i hit the ground,matt caught me in his arms then scooped me up.

The figure smirked and dashed towards the both of them,he then swung his sword but lucinda and daniel both blocked it then counter attacked.

The cloaked figure dodged it and then jumped out,lucinda and daniel both looked at each with a nod then daniel rushed towards the figure.

??? : "hmm i wonder what you are planning but whatever it is its going to be fun"

He laughed then rushed towards daniel,as the both of their swords clashed lucinda quickly ran behind the figure to slash him but she was stopped by another cloaked figure.

Lucinda : "Another one!"

Daniel : "But how.."

??? : "Nice timing"

??? : "Couldn't let you have all the fun"

Matt placed his forehead against mine,then he sighed as my fever was really high then proceeded to carry me back to my room.

Narian : "Princess!"

I looked over to narian who sighed in relief,he thanked matt for finding me then softly took me from matt's arms to his.

Matt : "Let me stay with her while you go and help the prince and princess"

He asked narian who was skeptical at first but then nodded,the both of them proceeded back to my room eventually they met emma.

Emma : "I found you three finally"

I looked at emma something was wrong this was not her,narian knew then handed me to matt who took me into his arms.

Narian : "Matt get her out of here this is not emma"

He nodded then ran over with me in his arms,as i looked back the last thing i saw was narian unsheathing his sword and pointing it at her until my eyes closed.

Daniel and lucinda were both pushed back,as the two cloaked figures laughed and combined their swords so both of them attacked.

Lucinda : "Daniel look out!"

She ran to daniel and got infront blocking the attack,but it was to strong and she was knocked flying into the wall,as soon she hit the wall she hit the ground.

Daniel : "Lucinda!"

Yelling out to her he ran to her side but was stopped by the two cloaked figures,who appeared infront of him very fast and then attacked him.

Daniel blocked it but like lucinda it was to strong,he was knocked flying into the wall and then fell to the ground passing out,as the two figures smirked then vanished.

Matt continued to run fast,until eventually he arrived in the infirmary and then entered he walked over to the bed and laid me down.

Narian : "Who are you and where is emma"

Nightshade : "oh don't worry she is fine and no she is not injured but all we want is the young princess where is she"

Narian : "As if i tell you!"

He dashed towards the fake emma and swung his sword at her,but she grabbed it with her bare hands and broke it then blasted narian into a wall who collapsed onto the ground the fake smirked and vanished.

Matt : "I need to find some medicine but i cant leave her"

He whispered looking at me but then he heard a voice,looking over to see the two cloaked figures has appeared infront of him.

??? : "Aw how sweet the little boy trying to protect the princess"

??? : "Step aside boy and let us take the princess"

Matt shook his head unsheathing his sword then pointed it towards them,both the cloaked figures sighed then dashed towards him.

Matt prepared to block their attacks but then all of a sudden the two cloaked figures,were knocked back by a bright light as a light barrier appeared around me and matt while i was still passed out.
