Watching out the window
All the falling snow
I wish that we were out there
But I guess life just ain't fairMy life is like stained glass panes
Colours fit together like chains
Each colour a moment in my life
Some so clear they cut like a knifeSome panes are blues so deep
From tears I couldn't keep
Some furious red
from passionate things saidPinks so pretty and light
From hearts lit up and bright
Greens like summer grass
Moments I didn't want to passLuscious and rich creams
From past and future dreams
Purples so royal
From those most loyalBlack panes haunting and dark
All the pain has left it's Mark
Some a milky white still not clear
For moments that are coming nearOranges are sunny and fresh
Where friends and family mesh
Yellows bright and happy
From the moments I felt happyMy life is like a stained glass window
Where you can watch the falling snow
An assortment of colours all glued together
Where they'll leave a story forever
