Wondering all the whatifs as I weep

When will my hero save me again
Why has my love for you become a sin
Where did all the smiles go
Its helpless asking since only you know
I want you here, not a ghost of the past
Want to know our love will last

Even though you're nowhere near
The fire in my eyes is now burned out
Because of the fears, nightmares, and doubt
Not sure of what is reality or fantasy
I'm becoming scared of what will become of me
I'm a damsel in distress
I don't love you any less
Please come save me soon
I'm tired of talking to the moon
