"Meek " her voice cracked I sighed in relief
"yea Nicki I'm here" I said running my hand over my face
"where are you?" I asked her as she sighed
"Meek ...I can-"
"don't give me that bullshit ass excuse talking about you can't tell me Nicki cause it's not gon work on me and you know that" I gritted I'm really trying to control my anger right now. But hearing her say that got me mad like she's not trying to come home or something . I heard sniffling and her trying to control her breathing and instantly regretted the tone of voice I used on her. I ran my hand over my face leaning my head back on the head rest.
"look Nick I'm sorry for coming at you like that but it's just I'm fucking frustrated, I been going crazy since I found out you been gone" I said
"I'm sorry I wasn't there" she said crying I shook my head. Hearing her like this is breaking a nigga down because at this moment I can't even really do anything
"listen Nick I'm not even mad at you, please stop crying babygirl " I said to her as she breathed out
"can you please stay on the phone with me rihmeek?" she asked me
"yea Nick, I'm not getting off the phone until I know something" I said as she chuckled
"yea I know" she said I just smiled. There was silence on the phone well on her end... I was lowly cursing niggas about how they were driving. Driving in fucking New York is reckless as shit.
"are you driving Meek?" she asked me
"na" I said lying right through my teeth ... if Nicki was in this car with me right now she'd smack me in the back of my head and hang up the phone. She's real paranoid when it comes to shit like this, and hates the way I drive. I'm one of those reckless niggas when it comes to driving, but I'm careful if that makes sense.
"don't fucking lie to me Rihmeek pull the car over, so I can tell you where I am I need your full attention for this" she said as I sucked my teeth
"I'm almost home so just wait, for now talk to me" I said as she sighed
"I miss you so much" she said
"I miss you too Nick" I said pulling up to the crib. Something in me just didn't feel right and I immediately began too feel guilty. I parked my car and hopped out walking to my front door .
"I'm sorry Nick" I said walking inside the house
"for what?" she asked me as I plopped down on the couch
"for leaving you, I don't know what's going on with you but I feel as though this is all my fault" I said
"please don't blame yourself meek... " she said as I shook my head .
