"Intriguing!"
Edd marveled as he looked through the old photo albums. Page after page he analyzed every family photo in the book as Kevin looked over his shoulder. The ginger noticed a strange pattern however. Progressively over the years the family became smaller and smaller until only the husband was left. At first he thought the book was backwards and he was looking through it in reverse chronological order but the man got older as the book went on. He thought it was weird but he also didn't want to think about it too much so he moved away from his boyfriend.
Kevin walked around the attic wandering away since Edd seemed to still be entranced with the photos. As he looked around he found his own thing to be focused on, a doll.
"Heh, cute."
Kevin grinned at the porcelain doll. Her locks were a silky brunette that framed her delicate pale face. However, The most striking feature on her were her deep red eyes that seemed to glisten even though the attic was severely under lit. He focused on her eyes for a moment, almost as if in a daze but when her eyes seemed to shift...he knew he had been staring far too long. A trick of the eye, he thought to himself since realistically he knew there was no fucking way those lifeless eyes moved. He needed to get out of this attic it was getting entirely too hot and the heat was getting to his head.
Once out of the hellish attic Kevin wandered to the outside of the cabin. Outside, the sun had already set and the crisp fall air cooled the ginger off quickly. This was nice, he thought. Kevin and Edd rarely get time to themselves so this vacation was desperately needed. He looked up towards the window where the attic was to still see the dim light and Edd standing there in the window, waving.
"Hey! Babe! It's nice out!"
He shouted up to the window only to see the silhouette move away. Kevin scratched at his head then jumped as he felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you!"
Edd giggled, causing Kevin to fully turn around. How did he get down here so damn fast? He thought but decided to not even question it. He looked down at his small dorky lover and grinned.
"How was your tour of the attic?"
Kevin asked, pulling his dork closer to him. A breeze caused Edd to shiver slightly but Kevin definitely had something to warm him up.
"Why don't we finally test out that bed, babe?"
The ginger husked this into Edd's ear he then chuckled when he his boyfriend's ears began to turn pink. He didn't wait for an answer before picking up his small raven, crunching leaves as he quickly walked back into the privacy of the cabin. Something felt different however, it didn't feel so private...especially after foot steps were heard quickly pacing the attic.
A/N: Hey Guys! It's Krissy! So I know this wasn't updated at all and October is almost over but I just got a new job so it's been a little crazy! I am currently on vacation however, I do intend to take some time every day so I can at least finish this by Halloween or a few days after! This will be a pretty short story so I'll have to jam pack some chapters! Thanks for putting up with me especially those of you who actually know me and how terrible I am with updating! I love you all!
