I feel someone jumping on stomach "Mary Grayson! Get off!"
"Mommy it's time for school!"
I get up and slide on my shoes "go get your shoes on" she nods and I look at my bed...my bed..why can't he come back.
"MOM!" I look at the door and see Suzie walking in "I'm taking the.." She stops "still not back"
"Mommy where did daddy go" Mary pops up behind Suzie
I sigh "he's somewhere people"
Mary smiles "that sounds like daddy" she walks away but Suzie stays
"He's never coming back is he?"
I shake my head "he is" I look at her "he just...." I don't know how to put it
"He just flew in" we all turn and Dick's holding Mary behind Suzie "hello my wonderful family"
"DAD!" Suzie hugs Dick and so does Mary I just stare "oh no the time come on Mary P" she grabs Mary and runs out the door
-Dick pov-
I walk toward Artemis "some how's it been without me huh?"
I was expecting a slap or a punch maybe even a few choice words but instead she jumps into my arms and cries "why didn't you call! I was worried sick!"
I rub her back as she lets it all out "I'm here now Princess I'm here now" I sway with her until she pulls back
"No more missions right?"
I smile "no more missions Nightwing is officially done" then I start to think until maybe Suzie or Mary pick it up?"
Artemis laughs "what if it was a boy?"
I look at he confused "but we don't have one..." I look at her and she smiles "WE ARE GONNA HAVE A BOY!!!"
I pick her up and twirl her
She laughs "put me down I still have morning sickness!"
I put her down and smile "it's for sure a boy?"
"It's for sure a boy..." She draws it out
"What?!?! what is it?"
She laughs "it's a boy an a girl it's twins Dick!"
I jump around the room "ITS TWINS MY GOD ITS TWINS!!!!"
-Artemis pov-
Dick walks back to me and wraps me I a hug "you know I love you right?"
"Never doubt it for a second" I put my arms around his neck "never"
He kisses me on my lips "I love you Mrs. Artemis Grayson"
I smiles the biggest I have ever smiled "I love you too Mr. Dick Grayson"
He bends down to my stomach "I love you too Thomas and Paula" he looks up and I smile
"Already naming them I see?"
He stands up "absolutely it's what I do" he kisses me "I love you so much I can't imagine this life without you"
"I love you too and that life would suck"
He laughs "you wanna know what I got you don't you?"
I laugh "of course!"
He opens a pouch and pulls out a beautiful diamond necklace with a gold chain "24k for my lady"
I kiss him "thank you Dick!"
"It's the least I could do" we sit down on his couch "soo" he picks up Star Wars movies "how about we reenact our first date minus the bullets?"
I laugh "I'd love too"
He gets up pops some popcorn then starts the movie and I cuddle into him "best life ever"
"I couldn't agree more" we smiles at each other then go back to watching the movie
