Shocked

I don't fake it
I was born with it
Passed through genes
I got the "disease" my family inherited

So why are you so shocked?
I've been showing signs since I was little
So don't act surprise we all saw this coming
From biting my nails and punching myself since 5
To cutting since 13

I know I'm not shocked
I always knew I was messed up
That my life wasn't like most kids
From my mom trying to kill herself
To me following in her path

So no I don't fake it
No I'm not fine
And no I'm not shocked
But you shouldn't be either
