John's eyes glimmered in the moonlight as he munched on the stale bread. Not very good, but enough so. Sherlock was sleeping against the hard oak tree, his curls damp with snow. John got up and smiled, he longed to sink his fangs into the squirming fresh kill. Let the blood run down his chin making it sticky, ripping the small animal from limp to limp watching the life leave it's eyes.
John walked out into the forest, the snow melting under his feet. He saw a small rabbit, hurt. Nice he thought, John slid through the shadows, and leaped on the rabbit. Quickly he violently jerked it at an angle. Sherlock suddenly appeared in minds eye, his head twisted at an odd angle, his eyes wide with fear. But John shook that image away and ripped the rabbit's head off. Letting the blood squirt he felt a bit tingly. John licked the blood up and sank his jaws into the rabbit, it's fur soft and warm on his mouth, and john tore away a chunck of flesh, his mouth watering severely.
~Probably some time later since Sherlock has to go to school~
John looked at Sherlock with intent, He's so cute! What where these feelings John had? It made him warm inside, and out. Sherlock let the snow blow by them, "You know you need a shelter" Little Sherlock stated matter-of-factly.
"You're right" John sighed, letting his hair blow in the cold late winter. Spring was coming soon and that meant food. That made John smile a bit and he truly felt happy.
When the boys were carrying sticks to make a home, John kept imaging Sherlock, which made the tips of his pointed ears go red. He knew all about the birds and the bees, and John was a bit nervous around other people when it came to that. Don't think that John, he-he is cute though. John snapped back, his body red from the image, but Sherlock didn't notice.
They had built a make-shift hut and talked about things and dabbled in jokes. Sherlock smiled, it was beautiful, it made John blush even more. If that was possible. He didn't understand why he felt this way. John fell asleep soon, and Sherlock wrapped a blanket around him. Sherlock now blushed, he felt something for John, he looked like a beast, but wasn't one.
Did they, feel love?
