-Hook-

I feel bad as I leave Bae, but he is a grown man. I know that sounds selfish but he must take the responsibilities for his actions. I am not his babysitter anymore. I sigh, this is what he wants. I go inside the castle and everyone stops and stares at me. “What lads? Why are you all staring at me? I know I’m dashing, but some privacy mates.” I said and sit down next to Robin again.

-Robin Hood-

We all started talking about how Neal was right. We needed the dark one back. I turned when Hook returned. He looks as if someone stabbed him on the back. He sat down next to me and I whispered to him, “What happened mate? Where’s Baelfire?”

-Emma-

Throughout this whole meeting, I started getting worried for Neal, and later noticed that Hook went after him. I thought maybe he tried to reason with him and maybe change his ideas about returning his dead father, but it turns out that he took longer than I expected. Moments later, Hook returned, but no Neal. Hook acted if nothing happened, yet deep down I felt something bad happened to Neal. I went up to him as he sits next to a hunter. I asked determinedly, “Where’s Neal?”

-Hook-

I take a deep breath, that thank you bae I have to deal with this. “Look love…” I start but then I stop because it hits me. Bae may not come back, he left to search for his father and here I am looking like the bad guy. So I just sit there and say nothing else, because whatever I would say, would backfire on me.

-Emma-

I grabbed Hook’s arm and pulled him up to talk to him privately.

-Hook-

Emma grabs me so we can talk privately, but I’m scared that Emma would see the real me. Yeah sure this ‘Neal’, I don’t fancy him, but he is still Bae, the little lad I took care of. Emma may not know this and talking about him…well I might get emotional. So when we get there I look at Emma’s eyes and she wants answers, but looking at her is too hard. I look away from her, as if that’s going to hide the facts.

-Emma-

I lead Hook towards the halls to talk to him privately. He stands in front of me and I glared at him. For some reason, he looks away. I said “Hook, what happened? Where’s Neal?”

-Hook-

“Look love, I don’t really want to deal with your shouting or judgments.” I said coldly.

-Emma-

“I was worried about you and you can’t even answer me.” I argued back and it got his attention. “What are you hiding from me?”

-Hook-

‘I was worried about you’ is all my ears heard. I look at her not caring what my eyes revealed. I sigh, she deserves to know, and I just hope she’ll understand that I tried. “Okay…I know you deserve to know.” I said, “Bae went to look for his father but he…he wouldn’t listen. He wasn’t being reasonable. I told him that he needed to stay to be reasonable and think about it. He was going to leave his family. He still had you and his child! But he said that I didn’t understand him, that he was doing this because of his family. He needed to protect them. And well Emma.” I paused and look straight into her eyes, “I tried, I know I screwed up in his life too but I tired. And I gave him a choice and he chose magic over his family. Nothing was going to stop him.” I say and look away from her. I can’t bare to see her sad. I told her the truth and I’m waiting for the screams the hits on why I didn’t bring Neal back.
