Stay in the car.

Yeah those are words I never listen to. Pepper had to 'run an errand real quick' so she left me in the car with the windows down to let the spring breeze in. Well I decided to hop out the window and explore a little. I mean it's my first time in an actual city, I wanted to see stuff. Don't worry I didn't go far, just to the end of the block. There was a small crowd gathered at the corner and I couldn't help but stop to see what they were looking at. I realized it wasn't a what but a who. And a rather handsome who at that.

"I will give $100 to anyone who can tell me how this trick is done!" A magician I realized. He whipped out a metal spoon. "I am going to bend this spoon with my mind!"

I grinned. Kayden had been obsessed with magic for awhile and he had shown me this trick. I still remember how happy he had gotten when I couldn't figure it out. I swear he's a total dork. The trick was a lot of quick, seamless sleight of hand and multiple spoons. The original spoon he had was in fact a normal spoon. He would then switch it for the handle of a spoon that was broken right where the head meets the handle and a pre-bent spoon. He would hold the spoon over the break with the back of his hand towards the audience. The bent spoon handle would be hidden behind his hand while the head remained in view. He would then slowly let the broken handle drop down as he pretended to bend it with his mind. Once it was bent he would again seamlessly get rid of the broken handle. This would leave just the bent spoon which could then be passed around and people could see it was in fact whole and indeed bent.

Confusing right? Hey it's a complicated trick. If you really want to see it then here's the link-

I'm kidding! Just google it or YouTube it. I don't care.

I watched as he performed the trick and the crowd was amazed. Yes even including me. Just because I know how it's done doesn't mean it isn't still super cool. Plus this guy was a seamless perfectionist, I could barely tell when he switched spoons.

(Here's the gist of what he did)

Once everyone was done clapping he spoke. "No guesses? That's a shame. That's all I have for you folks, tips are encouraged."

The crowd dispersed, and quite a few people dropped money in his hat. I walked up to him and gave him a small smile.

"Hello." He said as an arrogant smirk came onto his face.

"It was an impressive trick."

"Always nice to meet a fan."

He wasn't paying much attention to me as he was counting how much money he had gotten.

"How long did it take you to become so seamless at alternating the different spoons?"

He stopped counting the money and looked at me with a new interest. He stuffed the cash in his pocket, extended a hand to me, and took a step towards me. However instead of shaking my hand he tucked my hair behind my ear.

"There's the pretty girl I thought I saw."

I immediately took a step back. Dude was moving a little too fast for my liking.

I rose my eyebrows. "A magician and a flirt?"

A smirk once again graced his face. "Package deal."

"Ah. Well hopefully you come with a gift receipt so I can return you."

He laughed. "Alright I can take a hint. It was nice meeting you..."
