A/N Just a little scene I liked. As always comment any thoughts on it or how I can improve!
"Please just listen." He says, grabbing my arm.
"I'm tired of listening." I snap back, trying to pull away. He lets my arm drop but I don't walk away.
"I held your hand, through everything baby."
"But you let go."
"I promised I would always be there for you."
"But you lied," my eyes sting with tears.
"I said I'd never leave you." He looks at the ground, ashamed.
"But you did," I try to blink them away not giving him the satisfaction of me losing it.
"I loved you." His last-ditch effort to make me stay, I knew it all too well.
"Exactly," I say, a tear making its way down my cheek. "Loved. Past tense."
I push past him ignoring the hurt on his face and the pain swimming in his eyes. He calls out to me but it's too late I'm already gone.
