I cried as I hit the wall. He kicked and punched me but he wasn't done.. His hate grew stronger every time a cry slipped from my lips. I could try to fight back, but that would make things way worse..

He finally stopped and passed out on the couch. I ran up to my room and locked the door. I took out my phone and saw that it was getting late so I got a black sweatshirt and sweatpants. I took a quick shower and layed on my bed stuck in my thoughts.

What did I do to deserve this? That question went through my head until I finally fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up and changed into a batman sweatshirt black leggings and brushed my hair. I looked at the time and saw that it was 7:30am. I put on my Black Veil Brides hoodie and put my beanie on and got my bag.(outfit at the top)

I ran downstairs but then I saw that my dad was sleeping so I quietly but quickly went past him and ran outside.

Megan was outside waiting for me so I didn't have to wale to school alone. "Omg you look terrible.. was he drinking again?" Meg asked me.

"Ya.. I'm so tired of this happening.. but there's no way I can stop it.." I said and Meg hugged me. "Well, you always have me." She said.

"You know you don't have to walk me to school.." I said as we walked down the driveway. "Well, I want to be I want you to be safe." She said. "Thanks for putting up with me." I said and she giggled. "I think you put up with me just as much as I put up with you." She said. We both laughed and continued walking to school.

We got to school and as soon as we walked through the doors I got all kinds of weird looks.

I could hear mumbling and whispering, and people were staring at me. I just ignored everyone and walked to my locker.

Megs locker is right beside mine so I feel a bit more safe. Suddenly I felt my back hit the lockers. "Watch where you're going mutant." The girl said.

I looked up and saw Riley looking at me with that evil smirk on her face. "Aw, what's the matter? You still mute?" Riley said with a sassy tone.

I rolled my eyes and turned to close my locker. Riley walked away and me and Meg walked to the music room.

"Alex, Megan, how are you?" Ms. Howell asked. "We're good, Ms. Howell. How are you?" Meg asked. "I'm good, how are you Alex?" Ms. Howell asked.

I don't really talk so I have a notebook to write what I want to say. 'I'm good Ms. Howell. Just had a rough weekend..'. She read what I wrote and nodded.

She suddenly had a look on her face like she had an idea. She motioned for us to come closer so she could tell us. "I know someone you can stay with to get away from your problems." Ms. Howell whispered.

"Who is it?" Meg asked. "I have a feeling you know, but you'll find out if you go." Ms. Howell said. Meg looked at me as if she was asking me if I wanted to go.

I nodded my head and slightly smiled. I wrote down 'thank you so much Ms. Howell.'. "I'll let you know when everything is set up, go ahead and pack when you get home, both of you." Ms. Howell said and smiled.

We nodded and walked out of the music room. Meg may do a lot of the talking for us but she's been through as much as I've been through, she's just not afraid to speak her mind.

We walked to the office and the principle told us we could leave for the day. We walked out of the school and went to get something to eat.

Meg ordered our food while I found a table for us to eat at. As I was sitting down, I got a text from Ms. Howell.

'Alex, I got everything straight and whenever you and Meg are ready, let me know and I'll meet you to take you girls to the airport.'

Meg came over to the table with our food and sat down. "What's up?" Meg asked. "Ms. Howell just texted me.. She got everything straight and told me to let her know when we want to leave." I said.

"We should probably leave as soon ands we can." Meg said. I nodded and texted Ms. Howell back.

'When is the soonest we can leave?' I asked her and put my phone down and ate as I waited for a response. A few minutes after we finished eating, Ms. Howell texted back.

'As soon as we can get you girls packed and to the airport'
