Finn was taken aback when Santana up and left the choir room after he called her a good person. Finn shrugged it off and made his way out of the room and into the hallway, retrieving some stuff from his locker and heading for his truck. He threw his backpack into the passenger seat and hopped in and as he buckled his seatbelt he saw Santana at the entrance to the parking lot on her cellphone, looking a little irritated. Starting up the truck, Finn made his way to the exit, slowing up a little to stop where Santana was and rolling his window down.

"Hey, you OK?" Finn asked concerned, Santana not even looking as she draped her cheerios jacket around her, "My mom is working and won't be able to pick me up for an hour, so I have to get the stupid bus." she scoffed.

Sound of thunder rumbled above them as the rain began to start, "Great.." Santana shouted, placing her jacket above her head and beginning to walk away from his car.

Finn gave a sigh as he turned the corner, his truck following her to the bus stop, "Stop stalking me, Hudson." she hissed, sheltering herself with her jacket.

Finn let out an awkward chuckle, "No..I can take you home if you don't wanna wait." he gave his half smile to the girl as she was on the verge of smiling back, making her way to his truck and hopping in and putting her jacket back on. "Thanks.." she said, a smile growing on her face.

The first few minutes of the ride were awkwardly silent, both facing forward and just the sound of the wiper blades sweeping across the window. "So, what happened back there?" Finn broke the silence, Santana turning to him with a confused look on her face, "Uhh..I had to get the bus because-" Finn cut her off, "-No, I mean when you left the choir room in a hurry."

Santana sighed loudly, she knew she couldn't leave this situation like the last time. "Why did you call me a good person?" her eyes glancing at him as he began, "Because you are? I mean, are rude and insult me a lot, but I think it's just a front." Santana's eyes squinted at him, "What are you babbling about Dr. Phil?"  Finn took a deep breath, "In glee club, you're nice...you hurt people because you're hurt."

Finn noticed that every since Burt and Carole's wedding, Santana was extra mean to him and he knew that was because he rejected her and that hurt her. "I'm sorry." Her eyes glancing down, knowing he was sincere, "Yeah, well I deserved it. I finally have the guts to say I like a guy and I get turned down. It's my karma." He could see the tears forming in her eyes and by the way she spoke, she was still hurting.

Turning down Santana's street, Finn pulled over by her driveway and stopped the car, both sat in silence for a minute until Santana wiped her face and proceeded to grabbed her things, stopping when she felt his hand on her shoulder, her head turned to Finn, her brown eyes staring into his as he looked back at her, without thinking Finn leaned in, placing his lips against hers for a moment before pulling away, both of them in shock and Santana exiting the car, walking fast to her front door. In his head he wondered what had happened, there was some strange moment between them and he wasn't thinking. He honestly had no idea how he'd face her tomorrow for their number in Glee club, his mind racing as he pulled out to drive home.

As she went into her house, Santana went straight to her room, still a little shook from what had happened. "Why did he kiss me?.." she said aloud, throwing her stuff onto the bed as she took a seat. They had a moment, she was vulnerable and emotional and he was apologising. Santana began to smile as she realised that not only did he kiss her, but in that moment she kissed him back, and he knew that too.
