Night in

It's a Friday afternoon and the girls and I have been practicing with Ken all day. The first show is almost here, so we're perfecting the dance routines. Jay doesn't train with us yet, he has his own practice time of course. I guess we'll all practice together the last few days before the show to really get all the last details right.

It's around 6pm and my body feels tired and sore.

"I can't wait to go to the hotel, take a long hot shower and just melt into my bed!" I leave out a big sigh and take a seat on the floor next to Meg.

"Yeah, that sounds lovely, but we're all going out tonight. You're coming." She simply states

"Oh, no, nope, ain't gonna happen! Tonight it's all about pampering myself with a nice soft blanket, heating pad for my bad knee, some pop corn, a glass of wine and the last season of The Bachelor" I flash her a big smile and wiggle my eyebrows

She looks at me in disgust which actually makes me crack up. I love her 'rolling my eyes at you cause you dumb' looks. I know that inside she has a heart of gold.

"Fine, but if Simon D and I come into the room in the middle of the night to have drunk sex don't say I didn't warn you!" She jokes. Or at least I hope she does...!

After we've all grabbed our duffle bags and put on our hoodies, jackets or whatever we came wearing, the four of us decide to get a few burgers and bring them back to our hotel. Yep, that's how we reward ourselves on a Friday night after 6 hours of dancing! When we get to the hotel, we all throw ourselves on the bed and just start devouring our food. I gotta say, it feels nice finally having some girlfriends and being able to talk about things without the fear of being judged or getting yelled at, like Josh would always do.

"So what's this thing between you and Simon D?" Bella looks at Meg with the most sassy look ever

"Ugh, girls.... I think I found the man of my dreams" Meg exclaims with a happy-sad look on her face, with a side of ketchup on the corner of her mouth

"We laugh at the same things, he treats me like a princess, he's so sweet, plus he's AMAZING in bed! Guys, he's like me, but with a d!ck" it's amazing how she can make dirty things sound romantic, this girl..!

"So, things are getting serious?" I dare to ask

"I mean... yeah. We both want this to be a serious thing, but, who knows what will happen once tour is over.. I try not to think about it too much"

A loud beep coming from my phone interrupts our conversation. I look at my screen to see yet another text from Josh. He's been texting me non stop ever since I told him I wanted to take a break. I just don't have the energy to deal with this right now.

"Aren't you gonna answer?" Kristen gives me a suspicious look before taking a bite into her burger

"No, it's from Josh... God, he keeps texting me every minute of the hour! It's getting annoying" the minute these words come out of my mouth, I'm showered with a wave of guilt. I feel bad for ignoring him, but it's time I start thinking about myself. Up until this point I've always put other people's feelings first, it's nice to finally not have to worry about anyone else's but my own.

"Liz, end it already. I've told you this before, you need to do what's best for you" Meg's voice sounds sincere

"I know, but It's not that easy"

"I know, I know. You guys have been together for 6 years and it's not easy to throw that out the window. But, at the end of the day, the only question you should be asking yourself is if you're truly happy."

"Alright, let me enjoy this burger though, damn!" I fake-joke to lighten the mood

"Yo, we getting lit tonight" Bella changes the subject
