You know that feeling of anticipation you get when you're at the top of a rollercoaster? Or when you're just about to pay for something you've had your eye on for a long time? That's what my life is like, with everything. Although, I suppose the more proper way to put it is that that's what my life was like.
What happened? Well...It's not easy to say this, but I lost my best friend. And my brother. On the same day.
It was a perfectly regular day, to be perfectly honest, my brother Chris was picking up Xander, my best friend, and driving him over to our house because you know, best friends tend to hang out.
But then the unexpected happened. A big truck, like the ones used by companies to ship things, had a drunk driver who just so happened to barrel down the road, onto the intersection, and right into my brother's car.
They both died. At the same time. Chris had Xander in a tight hug when they died. He was trying to save Xander so that he could still live. But he failed. And now? Now I have nothing.
