Iliana sat in her room with Halxar while she was thinking; "What are you thinking about." says Halxar. "If I'll survive the River of Life." says Iliana. "I did." says Halxar. "What?" says Iliana. "I was born in the Pandraxian jungle and one day young Argus was taking a royal field trip in the jungle. My mother and I were running from the Flearians." says Halxar. "Flearians?" says Iliana. "They're flowers mixed with bears. It's a weird mix I know." says Halxar. "I bet they look very odd." says Iliana. "Yes they do. Anyway, before that my mother was teaching me to climb trees. I was climbing a huge oak tree when I misplaced my left paw. I slipped and fell all the way down and I died. When I awoke I saw Argus staring at me. When I asked him what happened he told me that he saw everything and he promised my mother he'd take me to the River of Life, and revive me. He told me I had to live with him because of my mother." says Halxar. "What happened to your mother?" says Iliana. "She thought it wasn't going to work and she died of heartbreak." says Halxar sadly. "I'm sorry, I lost my parents too." says Iliana. At that moment Argus came into the room; "I can tell that you guys are having a moment by judging the sad looks on your faces but, we're here." says Argus with an attitude. "What's his problem?" says Iliana. "He hates his parents." says Halxar. "Oh yeah, I forgot." says Iliana. Argus opened the door and he, Iliana, Halxar and Henry stepped out to a surprise. There were guards waiting right outside the door; "It's okay, I'm the long lost prince." says Argus. "We know, that's why we're heavily armored." says a guard. "What? I'm royalty, move out of the way so I can go to the River of Life." says Argus. "We can't do that." says a guard. "Why?" says Argus. "We've been instructed to kill you." says another guard. "What? Why?" says Iliana. "The king said if his son ever came back that means two things either he came back to be with his family or he came back to destroy Pandrax." says a guard. "How do you know if I came back to destroy Pandrax?" says Argus. "Because......you came back with him." says the guard as he pointed at henry. The guards began shooting at them, and the group took cover. "I forgot Pandraxians and Rock People have been at war." says Argus. "Argus do something!" says Henry. "Oh I plan to." says Argus. Argus pulls out a gun and shoots back at the guards. He knew he would never win if he fought them on their own turf so he brought a special kind of weapon he called the; Up-Up-And-Away. The UUAA is a pebble sized portal that launches you 500 feet in the air. Argus finds it very useful when fighting large groups of enemies. He threw it down and Argus and the guards shot up in the sky. Argus defeated all of guards off until there was one left; "Give up now you're never going to win!" says Argus. "I will if help comes." says the guard. "I noticed the color of your armor is different from the others, why is that?" says Argus. "Black armor is the color for the general. I'm General Trayhoffer." says the General. Argus pauses; "Uncle William? It's me... Argus." says Argus. "A-Argus? We thought you were dead. When you said you were the long lost prince I didn't believe you. What I said about your father, I was only trying to scare you." says William. "Good, but you know I'm not staying long, because I hate my parents." says Argus. "Why?" says General Trayhoffer. "They wanted me to be exactly like my father, and I wanted to be me." says Argus. "No they wanted you to be yourself, they just wanted you to be a great king." says General Trayhoffer. "They did?" says Argus. "Yes, your parents loved you so much and wanted you to be happy." says General Trayhoffer. "Where are they now? I have to see them!" says Argus. "After you left, they went to look for you, and no one has seen them since." says General. "Did they say anything before they left?" says Argus. "Your father gave me a message just in case you came back. He said "The Door of Locke". I'm not sure what he meant but that's what he said." says General Trayhoffer. "I know what he meant, come Iliana." says Argus. Iliana, Argus, Henry, made their way through the gates of the castle and went inside. When they got into the castle Argus looked around as he remembered every detail of the rooms. He walked to the throne and felt the edges of the chair; he touched the emblem on the chair. He pushed it and it clicked. The chair moved to the side revealing a staircase underneath. He walked down the stairs and his uncle and Iliana followed. "Um I'm going to stay here and check out the dining hall." says Henry. "What is down there?" says Iliana. "A hidden passage." says Argus. "What is it for?" says General Trayhoffer. "The poem; "Go to the Door of Locke. Pick up your fist and knock. When he answers give him three. Dark, red, and juicy Sprayberries. When he lets you inside. Follow the rules, make sure you abide. Look into the water and you'll surely become smarter." says Argus. "What does it mean?" says Iliana. "I have to look into the water." says Argus. The passage was dark and damp. At the end of the passage they reached a big door with beautiful carvings on it. Argus was about to knock but he hesitated. "What's wrong Argus?" says General Trayhoffer. "Nothing, I'm not sure who "He" is." says Argus. "Come on Argus don't be hesitant, you're an adventurer. Don't be scared you take risks all the time." says Iliana. "Yeah but it could be a huge monster that eats people." says Argus. "I'll do it then." says Iliana. Iliana knocked on the door. "No!" says Argus. The locks on the door unlocked very loudly. The sound echoed throughout the passage. The sound of the locks stopped and it was quiet for a few moments. Suddenly they heard huge footsteps coming towards the door. They all backed away from the door. The door opened and a head peaked out. "Who are you?" says the person. "My name is The Keeper." says The Keeper. "What do you do?" says Iliana. "I keep things." says The Keeper. "Can we come in?" says Argus. "Where are the Sprayberries?" says The Keeper. "I only have six." says Argus. "It's 3 a person. "One of us has to stay behind." says Argus. "I will." says General Trayhoffer. "Okay come Iliana. Argus gave the Sprayberries to The Keeper. They went inside. Iliana looked around in awe as she saw crystals in the rocks all around them. Argus tried not to step over the clutter that was everywhere. "Sorry about the mess but they don't call me The Keeper for nothing." says The Keeper. "You got that right." says Argus quietly. When they got to the edge of the cave they saw a waterfall coming down from above. "Was this a mountain?" says Argus. "Yes it used to be." says The Keeper. "The king built the darn castle right on our home." says The Keeper. "Our?" says Iliana. "Yes, you see in those other caves are my people." says The Keeper. "Where are we?" says Argus. "I think you mean when are you?" says The Keeper. "What do you mean?" says Iliana. "We are time watchers." says The Keeper. "I didn't know there were any of you left." says Argus. "We escaped extinction by traveling to the future using the water." says The Keeper. "It shows the future?" says Argus. "Not exactly. It is like a mirror but you can see the other side. It's more of a portal; you can travel through both sides. One side is located here and the other is located somewhere on another planet in the future" says The Keeper. "Hmm, that's very interesting." says Iliana. "Yes it is." says The Keeper. "I get it now, my father wants me to go into the portal." says Argus. "I shall come too." says Iliana "You both can go if you wish." says The Keeper. "Thank you." says Argus. "Under one condition that is." says The Keeper. "Always is." says Argus. "You have to bring me the blood of evil." says The Keeper. "What?" says Iliana. "He wants us to bring him the blood of somebody evil." says Argus. "Yes, now promise me you will so I can finish my potion." says The Keeper. "I promise." says Argus. "Okay, you may pass through." says The Keeper Argus and Iliana walked towards the water they grabbed each other's hands and walked through.
