This is going to be okay I thought as I packed my bags. I grabbed the last of my clothes and shoved them in my duffel bag and tip-toed down the staircase. I had to run away, things aren't good here at home. My mom and her shit boyfriend do not want me here. I'm a freak and I have to leave now. I pulled a sweatshirt over my head and grabbed a snack. I quickly grabbed a sticky note and a pen and wrote down a quick note. It said:

Dear Mom,

I have left and I'm going to find a life elsewhere please don't come looking for me I'm okay'

Love, Angel

I put the note were she could see it and grabbed my car keys. I opened the door and quickly packed my trunk with my things and drive off to start my new life.

I was quite tired and it was currently seven in the morning and I was running low on coffee and energy. I saw a small diner and pulled my car over to park. I got out and noticed a really cool motorcycle. I just smiled and walked in, there was a boy sitting on one of the stools staring into his cup of coffee and I smirked. He had sandy blond hair that came to curl in the front and was wearing black leather mittens, but hey everyone has their own fashion sense. I ordered a black coffee and sat down next to him. When the waitress handed me my coffee he looked up and smiled showing off his dimpled cheeks.

"What?" I asked smiling.

"You're wearing a sweatshirt and it's like 900 out here."

"Yes and you are wearing mittens so we are even."

"Yeah, I guess so." He laughed nervously. After hours of talking we decided it was time to go.

"It was nice talking to you." He said smiling.

"Yeah it was, I like you you're so down to earth compared to anyone I've ever talked to."

"Well you wouldn't think that if you knew why my hands are covered."

"Hows come?" I asked curious.

"Do you know of Ella Mars freak show?"

"Yes that's actually why I'm here."

"What do you mean?"

"I need a job."

"But you're normal though."

"On the contrary sir."

"Can you take me there and I can show you."

"Of course, yes, um follow me" I smiled at him as he stuttered.

"That's your bike?" I asked referring to the motorcycle I saw on my way in.

"Sure is."

"I love it."

"Thanks." I followed him to the campsite and smiled.
