Frustration, anxiety, stress, upset, and depression: Together they can lead to an emotional eruption, or what some people call a "meltdown." Sometimes you feel emotionally overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings that you can no longer control them or hide them from others - taken from Google
To me, this seems to describe this video perfectly.
Sometimes you feel emotionally overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings that you can no longer control them or hide them from others
Thomas said he wasn't feeling good today. He generally felt bad and was open about them. Expressing it to us, which means he could no longer hide the negative emotions he felt. Patton couldn't hide the negative emotions he felt. The opposite of negative is positive. But if you try to force yourself to be positive you just add more negative.
Like take Patton, we just saw a happy cheerful dad. We forget that he embodies emotions entirely. He said so himself, he isn't just happy emotions he's the bad ones too. There is always a downside. Plus when he spoke in unison with Virgil that was him showing vulnerability. But he covered it up with a smile. Why? This is based on how we see Patton as our comic relief and as a DAD. As a parent, you ensure your child is safe and well and don't worry about yourself. Patton is doing exactly that.
My friend texted me just now about an old headcanon I had. Here it is:
• Morality is smarter than everyone makes him believe. Emotions are complicated because one minute you're laughing and the next you're in tears. I see Patton dumbing himself down to make the others feel special. Take Logan, Patton listens to him and makes him feel smart. Which makes Logan feel good about himself. Patton compliments Roman to make him feel special and superior. Patton takes care of Virgil and cheers him up whenever he is down in the dumps. Patton is smart and thoughtful like all emotions. He is just doing his job as a father figure. And that makes him the best.
This literally corresponds with what I just wrote. Thank you BEARmywriting
Moving on to Roman, he was just. Not with it. He was more freaked out and yelling. Like back with Virgil, it may be because the sudden feelings are connected with youknowwho which is a connection to Romance. But right now, Roman isn't important. But he will be soon.
Now Virgil. I fear that he is on the verge of a panic attack. Someone has stated he is ongoing with sensory overload.
Sensory overload occurs when one or more of the body's senses experiences over-stimulation from the environment. There are many environmental elements that impact an individual. Examples of these elements are urbanization, crowding, noise, mass media, technology, and the explosive growth of information. - taken from Google
Virgil in the video just had like a spaz. Logan noticed immediately and when asked if he was okay, Virgil shook his head. Pretty clear, but no one else notices because they are all focused on the past instead of the present. From sensory it most likely is noise and an explosive growth of information. Plus, rereading through old poems and stuff can really send you back to some restricted memories. Which he probably was doing. Because of this, I fear he is on the verge of a panic attack.
And now, Logan. What to say? A lot.
Logan is trying to get Virgil out because he sees something is wrong. The other three don't notice because memories are around them. They are the right side of the brain. They proceed to start ignoring what he says. And the only way to gain their attention is to strike a nerve. And Logan did just that with Patton.
Patton responded with hurt words, everything just stops. For everyone's sake, I won't repeat them. But the sudden silence is the realization that Logan messed up again. Three times, in fact, mistakes that I believe Logan will carry around with him for a very long time.
Logan gets mad and tells them to fix it. But you can't fix a problem without every aspect of yourself. Logic is needed, but he left. Virgil isn't given any attention. Patton and Thomas finally stop, while Prince keeps going.
Also Im adding that Logan seems to act like Prince in the end. Each one of them have this tone of voice and Logans does change. Go and rewatch that part and you will notice. And the way he sinks out is just like Roman. Just a small detail I must add. Alright, well that's all I have. If you have anything else to say comment and I will add your thoughts to the next part. Thank you.
