In a town called Newburgh County is where Alexander Montgomery first laid his eyes on Hera Monteiro, and they were still on 12th grade. Hera was your typical beauty-nerdy student who got straight A's and has not even been inside the Prefect of Discipline's office.
Alexander, who is known as "the bad boy" thought that he can make Hera Monteiro fall under his spell, but he was so wrong. It was not that easy to approach Hera Monteiro. She doesn't smile; she always has her nerdy eyeglasses on, she has braces, and most of all, she always has her eyes on her book. Despite of it all, Alexander did not stop courting her. For one year, Hera Monteiro made Alexander's life miserable. Hera Monteiro promised herself that she will graduate high school without being involved with a guy, especially an Alexander Montgomery kind-of-guy. Whenever Alex follows her, she just lets him do that and do not even speak to him nor acknowledge his presence. Whenever he gives her flowers and chocolates, never did Hera accepted even one of it. Alex was already told by his friends to stop wooing her because it's impossible to make her fall for him, but he gathered all the strength and hope he has inside him and continued.
Finally, after 12 miserable months, in their 2nd year in college, Hera Monteiro gave her deafening YES. Alex was beyond happy and even shouted in glee. Their relationship benefited the both of them. Hera helped Alex in his studies, and Alex changed Hera in a good way. He made her smile very often, and if he's lucky, he can make her laugh too. Their relationship was almost perfect, but we all know that everything will come to an end.
Nothing will ever be perfect.
