Rose was quite lost for words as she stared back into the bright green eyes of Harry Styles. His beauty never failed to surprise her, even though she gazed at him online each and every day; it just didn't compare to the real thing.
Harry wore a goofy smile, as he'd been thinking the same thing. She was just so stunning.
"Hi, Rose." Harry whispered, he couldn't find the strength to raise his voice more than that. Rose stood dumbfounded, unsure of what to greet back.
"Hi, Harry." She played it safe.
"I'm sorry to keep annoying you like this," Harry started, unsure of how to continue, "do yo- would you wanna come for a walk with me?" Harry smiled a flashing brilliant smile. The smile that kept millions of girls up at night. This one was all for Rose.
Rose stuttered, looking into her house, it was already dark outside but her mother wouldn't be back from work for another two hours. Should she really go with a stranger for a walk at night?
"Okay, let me put shoes on." Rose breathed, her mid made up before she had the chance to comprehend it. Harry waited patiently, hands sweating, as Rose slipped on some vans, they matched her blue denim shorts and plain white tee that was tied in a knot to the side.
They had walked all the way to a bush trail before either one said anything. Rose was directing Harry as he didn't know the area.
"What brings you back to my house?" Rose couldn't help but ask, it was eating her alive. Harry took a second to look at the young girl beside him, I mean really look at her. Her long ginger hair was tucked behind her ears and was slightly messy. She was so young she still had a baby face, freckles dotted over her nose and cheeks even though she tried to cover them with makeup. She stood undeniably a lot shorter than Harry with the tip of her head just above his shoulders.
Harry sighed. She was so young, why was he so drawn to this one girl.
"It's embarrassing, and wrong. But I am just so drawn to you Rosie. I wish I could tell you why, I just find you so interesting." Harry said, it took all of his confidence. He shut his eyes preparing for her to run away.
"Well, it is quite wrong," Rose's voice shocked Harry, he didn't believe she would reply. But Roses face was covered in a blush, she couldn't even dream this up. If she could she'd be convinced she was sleeping.
"But I can't complain, this is something I could only imagine happening." Rose smiled a striking smile, one that made Harry dizzy.
They had stopped by now, sitting on a bench that looked over the beach. Harry didn't know what to say, he didn't think he'd get this far.
"You're so beyond your years, Rose. Why do you have to be so young." Harry whispered the last part. It was inevitable that this was not going to work out for them now, Harry was 20 and Rose was 14. She hadn't even been a teenager for long. She was going through changes in attitude and body. Harry was a man.
Rose laughed quietly, her voice held some kind of sadness, Harry heard it."Maybe you could come back for me one day? When this isn't so illegal." Rose smiled up from Harry, she didn't believe that Harry would. When she was 18 he would be 24, his success would be bigger than it is now and he would have forgotten her name. But she could dream.
"That sounds like a brilliant idea, Rosie" Harry's heart fluttered at this thought, maybe he could wait for her. It seemed to perfect to pass this forever.
Harry and Rose looked at each other, knowing that this would be the last time they saw each other for a while. But at the moment, they had right now.
