Amu forced on a smile as she entered the guardian's tea garden. Amu looked around, everyone seemed to be hiding something from her. She sat down next to Rima but Rima just moved away. Amu frowned, "is something.wrong, everyone?" She asked. Tadase was the first to speak up, "Amu well.....um....." He looked around hopeful somebody woukd take his place. Nagi spoke up, "Amu were sorry we had to keep this from you, Tadase asked us to." He said shrugging. Amu looked back at Tadase, "what is this all about?" Yaya burst open, "Ikuto is back!" She cheered. She covered her mouth as everybody looked at her. "Oh sorry Tadase, did you want to tell her?" Tadase blushed. Amu's eyes welded up in tears, "why would you keep this from me?" She asked. Tadase touched her shoulder, "I'm sorry Amu I was afraid you'd leave us......afraid you'd leave me." Amu started to cry now. She got up and ran for the door. She ran away crying. She ran into a dark alley. She crouched down and hugged her knees. Her body was shaking as she cried harder. Ikuto was back, and Tadase and the others has neglected to tell her. Her friends, people she trusted, lied to her. She suddenly stop crying. No her friends didn't lie to her, it was Tadase. He had made them not tell her the good news, and only for his own selfish reasons. Amu put her head back down her knees and cried again. Then a strong warm hand touched her. She snapped her head up and her eyes landed on Ikuto. A small, weak smile formed on her lips, causing more tears to slide down her cheeks. He smiled lovingly. Amu bursted out in tears and loud sobs. She flung herself on him. She hugged him tight. He hugged her tightly back. "Amu." He whispered. He stroked her hair and shushed her. Finally she stopped crying. She pulled away. "Ikuto, your back." She smiled. He smirked, "did someone miss me?" He teased. She blushed. "yes, I missed you A LOT." She sniffled and and smiled. Ikuto smirked, "mind telling me what made my Amu cry?" He asked. She blushed. "tadase didn't tell me you were back because he was afraid that'd he lose me." She shrugged as if it were nothing. Ikuto stared at her. "and your upset?" He asked. She eyed him, "yes, why wouldn't I be. He lied to me because he didn't want me to leave him, it was rude and selfish of him, don't you agree?" She said. He chuckled. "your too cute Amu." He mused. She blushed, "what's so funny?" She asked confused. He smirked, "i think it's cute you got mad that you didn't know I was back." She giggled. "isn't it obvious?" She said. She was nervous but she was going to confess. He raised his eyebrow. "what do you mean?" Then it struck him. "I love you!" She said. He smirked, "I know." He teased. Her mouth dropped. "what do you mean, 'I know' ?" He smirked, "you figure it out." He said leaning closer to her. She felt her stomach turn and knot in nervousness. Her heart throbed in her chest. His lips brushed against hers. "I love you too." He whispered before kissing her. Her eyes widened but then they fluttered shut and she kissed him back. He smirked as he kissed her. She pulled away. "soo... walk with me?" She blushed. He chuckled and nodded. She slid her hand in his as they walked and he smirked. She blushed but smiled at him. She was so happy, he was back. Ikuto loved her too. She was full of excitement. She knew she would have to explain things later to her friends and parents but right now she was with Ikuto and that's all that mattered at the moment.
