Being a photographer is hard. It's hard to get jobs unless you're Ansel Adams or Dorothea Lange then it isn't that hard. I went to one of the best photography schools in America and it is still hard to find an amazing job I would love. I spent so much on Yale plus having to have money for my camera equipment that I now live in a tiny apartment right outside of Los Angeles. My mom and my dad never helped that much with my finance but I've been managing. My beat down car is still running. What's mainly important right now is I have an interview for a job but five other photographers want also. It's for a party for a celebrity. To be honest I don't remember which celebrity it is. If it is someone that I'm obsessed with, like Jensen Ackles, then I'm most likely gonna screw up this interview and not get the job.

"Emily Donovan?" A man said and I sprung up, "This way." I followed him down a hall then he opened the door on his left. Alright Em, be professional and don't screw this chance up. I can hear a man laughing. I walked into the room.

"Ms. Donovan, it's nice to meet you. I'm Tanner and this is my brother Tyler." Tanner shook my hand and I grinned. I am dying inside. I'm hiding my fangirl freak out right now. It's fucking Tyler Hoechlin!

"Hello." Tyler came over and shook my hand with a smile.

"You can call me Emily." I smiled.

"Alright Emily, have a seat." Tanner said. We all sat down.

"Did you bring a portfolio?" Tyler asked.

"Yes, but I will let you know that I've never taken photos for a party. The closest I've gotten to that were probably weddings." I handed my portfolio to Tyler. Tyler opened my portfolio and started to look through it.

"So Emily, I would just like you to know that this is for Tyler's thirtieth birthday."

"Tanner, man, I know I'm getting old and I originally told you that I don't want a party." Tyler chuckled.

"Bro you're three decades old now. It's a big landmark in your life."

"Did you actually just say that me being thirty is a landmark?"

"Yeah." Tanner nodded his head with a smile and Tyler laughed. Ugh, his teeth are so white and perfect. His hair is combed perfectly. Those big green eyes, ugh, they are to die for. Now Tyler put his glasses on. I love when he wears glasses.

"Emily how old are you? You look like you're twenty-one." Tyler wondered.

"I'm actually twenty-seven."

"Did you go to college?" Tyler asked.

"Yes, I went to Yale."

"Yale? You must be pretty smart then."

"Well if you count photography classes easy and everything else having to work your ass off then sure." I just swore in front of him, "Oh my gosh, I just swore in front of you. I'm sorry."

"No it's alright. It let's me know that you aren't strictly business. That you're a bit more serene." Tyler smiled. I smiled from that. Tyler went back at looking at my portfolio.

"Emily are you aware that you are the last photographer we are interviewing today?" Tanner asked.

"Yes, I'm aware."

"Also that your portfolio is mainly street photography, nature and wedding photos?" Tyler looked his eyes up at me then back at my portfolio.

"Yes, and I know they are a bit-"

"Simple." Tanner cut me off.

"I was gonna say impractical." Tyler said.

"What?" I questioned.

"They're a bit different than normal street, nature, or wedding photos. You capture amazing and well the perfect moments. These are awesome." Tyler let out a small chuckle as he looked at my photos, "What did you graduate with? Like grade wise?"

"Well I had a professor explain it to me as this; I would have a four point one if I only took photography classes but due to requirements I had to take my grade point average ended up being a three point seven which is still pretty decent but like I said before, I worked my ass off." I smiled and Tyler chuckled.

"Well thank you for coming Emily. I'll call in the next two days if you will be taking photos at my party; that my brother put together." Tyler looked at Tanner then chuckled.

"Thank you." I smiled. Tyler handed me my portfolio back and I walked out. Well I got compliments on my photos and he was smiling and laughing. Hopefully that's helpful.
