A week has passed since I first woke up in the nurses office that day. Thanks to Recovery Girl's incredible power, I have fully recovered from the day when the villains struck. I return home. My mum walks out of the kitchen, tears in her eyes, "I-Izuku? Are you ok?" she says, "I heard what happened, you saved your class". She gives me a speech, crying her eyes out, about how what I did was stupid, and how I need to stop getting into these situations.
After she calmed down, she handed me a letter. "This came today, its addressed to you" she said, before walking back into the kitchen. In my bedroom, I look at the envelope, curly, cute handwriting spelling out 'Izuku' in the centre. Running my finger under the seal, opening it.
"Dear Izuku
I'm happy you're home, I hope you're feeling well
Meet me behind the school half an hour before school starts tommorow
-Ochako"
I'm nearly there. I've passed through the world famous arch that marks the school boundary, and I'm nearly at the corner that beyond which shall be our meeting point. As I step round, I open my eyes surprise at her already being here. "Ochako?" say, catching her attention, and getting a small squeak of surprise out of her. "Umm, what did you want to see me about?" I ask, her cheeks flushing red as she stares at the ground.
"Ochako?" I ask once more. "What did you want to talk to me about?". The flush upon her cheeks deepens as she hears me. "Izuku... Deku... I have something to say." She says, as she raises her eyes soft, brown eyes to meet mine. "When I first met you, I thought you were quirkless, and within a couple of hours I was proven wrong beyond a point of which I thought possible. Since then, I've been watching you, and no matter how much the odds seem to be stacked against you, you always come out on top, you are incredible...". Her already flushed cheeks grew a deeper shade of crimson "Deku. The hero everybody wants to be."
"I... I love you.".
