Chapter 4

Michelle Jones and her mother Cindy Jones finally arrived where Peter was currently stuck at with Ned and picked them up to take them to school.

"I can't believe Lola gave up on us." Ned said sighing.

"It's okay, nothing good lasts forever anyways buddy." Pete said patting his chubby friend on the shoulders.

"What is your aunt gonna say when she finds out Lola is ruined?" Ned asked worried for his pale skinned friend.

"I could care less about what she says. It's not our fault it broke down in the middle of the street. It could have happened to anyone else honestly. Don't worry about it, okay?" Peter replied reassuring his friend everything was okay.

"Okay if you say so. Why are you so chill now about this? You seemed hella worried earlier." Ned pointed out.

"Both of you guys need to chill. Lola breaking down isn't your fault." Michelle interjected.

"No one really asked for your opinion Michelle." Peter said softly.

"I heard that." Michelle said before rolling her eyes playfully.

"Don't worry Peter, we'll get Lola into a car place to get fixed." Michelle's mother said.

Michelle gave her mother a crazy look before glaring at Peter.

"Michelle be nice, Peter's aunt May is my friend. It's not a big deal." Cindy Jones said.

Peter just gave a triumphant smile at Michelle knowing he won that round of one upping each other.

Ned watched the interaction quietly not making a statement until they arrived at the school.
