The music was loud and the place was jammed pack with celebrities, most of which were getting drunk and having a good time. Bryce had dragged Mariana off somewhere, he said to refill their drink but Tara had a feeling they had met some people.

Marley was off being her usual party girl self, dancing to the music with just the use of her hips. There were plenty of guys and girls around her waiting for their turn to be grinded on.

Tara didn't mind coming to these events and supporting her sister, it was something she loved but the after parties are what made her so drowsy. Her friends would go off and drink and find someone to hook up with while her sister showed off her body. When they were doing that she would sit alone at the bar, drowning herself in some kind of liquor.

Tonight she had chosen a fireball whisky as she waited for the guys to start hitting on her. Another thing Tara hated about these parties were the amount of drunk and stupid men. There was something about seeing a girl at a bar alone that made them think she was waiting for someone to take her home, when in reality Tara was just waiting for the night to end.

For some reason tonight seemed extra miserable for her. She was only finished her second whisky and was waving the bartender over to pour the third, and yet something felt off. She had no idea whether or not it was going to be a good thing or bag, but Tara felt like something was coming and it was headed her way.

Sure enough a few seconds later someone took the barstool next to her. She turned to look them over when they didn't say anything to her immediately like usual. The guy seemed familiar but she didn't know where she had seen him from. He was dressed in jeans and a dark shirt that he had thrown a stripper hoodie over.

"Is there a reason you keep looking at me?" The guy finally spoke after the bartender gave him the drink he ordered. He turned his gaze to Tara only for his eyes to widen slightly, apparently he knew her too.

"You just seem familiar that's all," Tara shrugged as she took another sip of her whisky. She could still feel the guy's eyes on her like he was still in disbelief of her being there.

"You're the girl," he said softly like she wasn't meant to hear it.

"Sorry?" Tara said as she turned back to face him, setting her glass down to be refilled once more.

"The girl that sung at this bar I went to once, you were amazing," that's when the pieces fell into place. This was the actor that had been obsessing over her on social media the past few weeks, the one that knew the actor Mariana was in love with.

"And you're the actor that's been obsessing over me," Tara said in almost annoyed way, when really she wasn't she just wanted to mess with the guy.

"Yeah I'm sorry about that my friends get out of hand sometimes," he said sheepishly almost trying to hide his face.

"It's fine I found it cute," his eyes met hers once again as she sent him a soft smile.

"Really?"

"Yeah it was like living in my sister's shoes for a while," Tara said as she glanced over to where her sister was now dancing on a bar. "Minus the drunk part."

"Well you seem like you're trying to get there," he said pointing to her fourth glass of whisky. Tara was buzzed, maybe slightly buzzed that was for sure. She knew how to handle her liquor though and wasn't such a light weight like her older sister.

"The noise, I hate these parties."

"Then let's get out of here," the guy said and there was definitely no joking in his voice.

"I don't even know your name."

"Tom, now what do you say we get out of here I'm actually trying to avoid someone anyways," he held his hand out for her to take.

Tara considered it. She knew her sister and friends would get home just fine, Bryce would sober up a little plus there were the bodyguards. With a rush of adventure she took Tom's hand and let him drag her through the crowd of drunk bodies and onto the street with the city lights.
