Danny bows down to Rowan. I just stand there confused.
"Bow down!" I hear Danny whisper in sudden panic. My eyes widen with shock at his words, I slowly bow down. But as soon as I start to Rowan says "You don't have to bow to me Sam." So I follow his instructions and stand up. He is taller than Hunter. Rowan is around 6'7 as Hunter is 6'2 but still growing by the looks of things around here. "Thank you Danny for bringing Sam here. You are dismissed." Danny gets up quickly and sprints away.
"So you are like the boss around here?" I ask as Rowan leads me towards the front door. I stand there and wait for the door to be opened by Rowan. He holds the doorknob as he looks at me and does the legendary lady killing Dickson smile.
"I'm am not 'like the boss' I am the boss." And with another smile Rowan opens the door to his mansion. The floorboards are freshly waxed, the house smells fresh and clean. The temperature is cool and the air is clean. All the windows are open creating a gentle breeze.
"Welcome to my house. Which is also known as the pack house." Rowan says while gesturing to a large study. He opens the double doors and assures me inside. "You need to know that you aren't just a human Sam. You are so much more too. You are an Alpha's mate, a spectacular writer and you are also a demowolf." Rowan says the last sentence quietly just to make sure nobody can hear. My eyes widen.
"I'm a what now?" I ask while sitting in a leather chair. This chair is so uncomfortable. I lift my legs and place them on the arm rest of it and I lean my back on the other arm rest.
"A demowolf is a creature which has been crossed with a wolf. This will explain why your scent is so unique." Rowan says as he sniffs the air. "Honey... you can taste it because it is so strong." Rowan adds as he licks his lips. What the fuck!? I am not a demowolf! My parents are human! My family are normal!
"You must be mistaken Mr Wolf leader thing because I am not a demiwolf!"
"It is called a demowolf not a demiwolf. Now we must find a way to make you shift, fear apparently does it well." My eyes widen as he jumps towards me. His shifts mid-air into a giant hazelnut coloured wolf, its fur shines under the midday sun which is shining through the widow. He pounces towards me, I scream and run behind the couch. With one sudden movement the couch it thrown into the glass case which was once holding many books. I run around the room with him hot on my tail
"Stop!" I yell as I jump under his desk. I hear nothing but my own breathing and my heartbeat. Where has he gone? I feel his breath on the back of my neck, I turn around and slap his wolf across the face.
"I said stop!" I yell at him, I am sick of every wolf around his breathing on me! Rowan shifts back into his human form, just a lot more naked then I remember.
"A demowolf who cannot shift. Extraordinary." Rowan says as he walks over to oke wood draws, he opens them and pulls on some boxers. Did he plan this attack thing or something!?
"Like I told you before I am not a demowolf!" I say as I climb out from under the desk. "Now if you will excuse me I have to go and show my parents I am still alive." But before I can open the door Rowan stands in front of it.
"No need, I invited them for dinner. They should be arriving at eight." Rowan says while checking his watch. When he lowers it I get a glance at the time, 2:24. Rowan opens the double doors and asks me to follow him. "Can we have a good clean in my study please?" Rowan asks a woman who is walking past. She doesn't say anything she just nods her head and walks away. This guy must be very powerful.
"So have you decided who you are going to mate with?" Rowan asks casually as we walk down the wooden steps to the giant garden. There are blossom trees all in a straight line to the right, to my left I see a passage which is dark from all the trees above it which seem to be blocking out the sun light. The garden is well maintained, the grass freshly cut and the flower beds have all just been watered.
