*chapter 9*

Diana's pov

After Lance dropped me on the ground and stepped over and talk to his dad.I went around the back and was about to take in the fresh air I was interupted when someone cleared their throat.I turned around and saw that it was my brother.

'Ugh' I said in disgust and rolled my eyes and started to walk away.

'Wait D! Talk to me please' he said just a mere inch behind me.But I kept on walking 'Diana listen to me!' He shouted angrily and grabbed my arm roughly and turned me to face him and when he did that I pushed him in his chest.

'What Denzil?! What?! I don't wanna hear anything you have to say!' I growled at him

'Look I know you're angry at me but you know the rules'

'It doesn't go for family.Mom and Dad thought us that when it comes to family there are no rules and even if there are,they will be broken and forgotten' I said with tears in my eyes 'Those were the last words mom and dad said before the eclispe and that we were to stick together but clearly you forgot'

'I didn't! Do you know how many times you've messed up here in the mansion I've always had your back but clearly you can't see that'

'Whatever' I said and started walking away and I heard his quick footsteps behind me

'Ugh D can you just talk to me? Am sor-' He said and was cut off when he fell to the ground he landed on his face,his legs in the air and his arms by his side.And I couldn't help but laugh it was a ridiculous sight. I was cut off when I saw Lance looking at me

And then I started laughing again. "Seriously Diana!" Denzil said gripping my arms with his claws sinking them into my skin making them bleed and I squirm "I had no choice they made me do it,if I didn't do it they would've cursed your mate. Remember when you were little you would talk about your mate saying that he'd do anything for you,travel the world and give you the days of your life. Well if that happened he would've died"

"Denzil it's not that my mate can die for all I care cause he's an asshole. I want you to be the brother I had when we were young.Can't you be that guy?"

"No am sorry. I want your dream to come true" he said and let me go and walked away. I turned around and looked over the balcony staring at the ocean view. And took a deep breath then I sighed and started to cry remembering what mom and sad use to say

*There's always gonna be a time when it feels as if everything's gone wrong. What you need to remember is that something wrong can turn out into something right. Don't give up just yet there's always a way even if you're sinking"

Denzil's pov

Think I let her down easy it's a stupid move for a guy who wanted her forgiveness for years and when she accepted it in her own way and I messed it up.

"Now look what you've done!" Lance roared at me

"What?" I asked him

"You ruined her,you don't deserve to be in her life"

"Ha!" I laughed "You're seriously telling me that? She's your mate and you don't want anyone to know,you can't even be real with her.Just because you are ashamed of my sister"

"How did you even know that?" He asked more angry than shocked

"I was walking by her room that night when you forced yourself upon her and I heard everything but hid when I saw your father coming. But don't worry am not informer" I said and "either you make it work or reject her and let her move on" i added before walking away
