~Tori's POV~
"I'm going to go bed" I announced as I took my jacket off as we walked through Trish's front door, Joann was most likely in bed, "Need help?" Alfie asked trying to avoid the question I knew he wanted to ask "I'm fine" I smiled a small smile before walking slowly up the stairs, to my room. I did my usual routine of cleaning the cut and getting ready for bed. I climbed slowly under the covers and instantly sank into the comfy mattress, I was tired. I could feel it, the sleep trying to take me under but for some reason I just couldn't fall asleep, I sighed in annoyance. "Just leave it Trish, she'll be fine, go to bed" I heard Alfie snap before opening the door slowly trying to prevent the squeak that came from the door, he sighed in annoyance when he failed "you awake?" he whispered, I wanted to avoid this conversation so I ignored him giving the illusion I was asleep, Alfie sighed once again before climbing into bed and wrapping a arm around me. "I need to tell you something" Alfie whispered, I ignored him "when I saw you with Ben like that, my heart broke, I didn't realise till I got closer what was happening I instantly felt stupid to think you'd do that especially with Ben Fitzgerald. That's why I did what I did, I know you don't want to talk about it and that's why you're pretending to be asleep but I want you to know... It doesn't matter" he sighed before laying his head next to mine, I felt a tear fall down my face, it was slow but it wasn't because I was upset about what happened, I was upset that I thought Alfie was going to say he liked me, more than he should. I'm so stupid, I thought before letting the sleep take me under.
~Alfie's POV~
I heard little snores coming from Tori's mouth, that's when I knew she was truly asleep, I smiled at her before getting out of bed slowly and walking down the stairs, into the kitchen and out into the back yard. Trish has such a beautiful back yard, it's just simple, when I can't sleep and I'm at Trish's I come down here and think about everything. Mainly Tori, I followed the line of fairy lights illuminating the garden before taking a seat on the couch. I sighed and put my head in my hands, I knew I liked her, why can't I tell her? I almost did, I knew she wasn't sleeping she was just avoiding the conversation about what happened tonight, which I understand. "Alfie?" I heard Tori's sleepy voice call before I felt Tori sit beside me "go back to bed" I smiled without looking for me "Can I ask you something first?" she sighed "sure" I smiled once again "dance with me?" she asked "what?" I asked obviously confused "we didn't dance tonight" she elaborated, I laughed a little before standing and offering my hand to her, she smiled up at me before gracefully taking it. She pulled out her phone and plugged in her headphones before passing one to me and placing one in her ear, she smiled as 'One Last Dance' by R5 came on. We began swaying, Tori began singing. I loved her singing, it was beautiful. I pulled my head from her shoulder and smiled at her as she continued singing while looking into my eyes, this is it. This is the time. "Tori, I like you, more than I should" I smiled into her eyes as I awaited her response.
