"You're right. I didn't fall, she pushed me. But it isn't surprising. I can't do anything, so what is the point. She'll never get in trouble." I replied. "You're right. It isn't fair. She can do anything she wants because her family owns to school." Jade replied. "Why must she always call you 'Vicky'" Kennedy asks. "Because she knows I hate it." I say. "I knew that but, it must be tiresome to always put forth a conscious effort to be cruel." Kennedy says. I can't disagree, it's tiresome to be nice, and its instinct to be nice. It must be hard to go against instinct. Sometimes I see a mustard seed of kindness in Sarah's eyes. You can tell she's nice somewhere in the pit of starbucks, salon trips (nail and hair), instagram ,and lip gloss she likes to call her soul. I've learned by now that her 'personality' is entirely trying to look good and being 'impressive'. I sigh and look over to the stage. Our principle Mr. Power walked up and tested the microphone "Testing....Testing....1...2...3". Then he proceeds to talk to us about bullying. "Please, if you are being bullied please step forward. It doesn't matter who is bullying you, we will put forth all possible efforts to keep you comfortable and safe" was his closing. I didn't mind that closing. It's true. If it weren't Sarah bullying people, I'm sure that it would all be solved. Except it is Sarah bullying people. I looked over and kids were filing out. Then Coach Amber came over and told us we could go to our next class. For me, my next class was reading. We have assigned seating in reading, and I just so happen to sit next to my crush (don't tell him) Brendan McQueen. We have a very loose teacher named Ms. Smitten-Rue (Ms.Rue, Ms. Smitten, Ms. S, Ms. R or Ms. SR for short), so Brendan and I have quite a few conversations. He is super attractive. I was walking down the halls with my binder (I swear my whole locker is in there. I have to go to it quite often) wen someone bumped into me. It was Brendan. "Sorry Dove." He said. I think I blushed, though over nothing. I walked with him into the classroom. We have partnered desks (two at each. Assigned seating), and we work with our "table groups" (just partners). "Brendan did you finish the thesis statement? I know we both finished the rest." I asked him in the hall. "Yea, yea. Hey... uh I wondering if I could ask you something." He said. "Um... Okay? You know you have my number so you can ask me anything. You could've asked me yesterday when we were texting." I replied. "No, it's something I wanted to ask you in person" he replied. I was honestly confused, so I looked at him confused. We sat down, and he said "Uh... well, I was wondering if sometime soon we could I don't know. Like hang?". I wan't sure if it was real of not, so I asked, "W-what?" in a stammer. "Wanna hang?" He asked blushing profusely. I am 100% sure I was as well. "Yes!" I yelled. I paused and realized I was too eager. I forced a cough and tried again. "Yea. Sure." I said. "Ok. I was thinking maybe we go to the sweet shop Friday after school. We should meet in the study lounge and then we can go in my car." He said. I was so happy! "Yes." I said. We smiled at each other and continued class.
