Smile. For. The. Camera!
Smile for... The freaking camera...
Those 4 words... This sentence...
This single sentence made me think...
It's like they're obligating me to smile so the picture can come out well...
~My P.O.V~
That day made me think a lot...
I was at church for my bestie's birthday. I don't know why but I was sad for a reason, (and when I'm sad a have a neutral face... Like you know that kind of face that makes you look like an emotionless yandere? That kind of face) but even though I was upset, I had to smile. To make everyone happy. So that no one would worry about me.
Eventually my mom noticed and told me:
"Stop having that creepy face and SMILE"
smile...
I nodded and went to get a cup of water.
After a while, the pastor said we should take a group photo.
I went near my bestie and when she noticed my sad face she said:
"Just SMILE for now OK? Later we will talk"
"I'm fine!" I said 'smiling'
smile...
"SMILE FOR THE CAMERA!"

I was in my room, sitting on the bed, thinking the same sentence over and over again
Smile for the camera!
Smile even though your grandmother died...
Smile for the camera!
Smile even though your own mother can't see that your sad...
Smile for the camera!
Smile even though your keeping all inside and putting a mask on, so that everybody will be happy, and don't have to bother themselves worrying about you...
Smile for the camera!
Just smile!
