Chapter 9(Because your so smooth)

I crept over to the side of the roof. Laura walked along the edges waiting for me to get in position.

"You're good to go" I replied through my earpiece. I held my rifle firmly as I aimed it at the situation. Laura moved quietly stabbing any guard in her way then dragging them into the dark. I saw a man creep behind her and I quickly fired. The bullet whizzed past her head into the chest of the man behind her. He dropped to the ground and Laura slit his throat. I put my hands on the glass windows above the warehouse. Laura came in through a crack in the main door. Using my gloves a melted a hole letting the glass open, but not shatter. I dropped a rope to the rafters above the men and waited. I closed up my rifle and I deployed my AR15. I dropped down to the rafters as Laura walked to the left corner of the room. A man was strung up in a chair, his wife was chained to a wall. The man had been beaten severely while the wife just had tears.

"Tell us where it is Cortez" The man in black gloves said.

"Never, you don't deserve the money" Cortez said before spitting into his face.

"Looks like I might need to cut you up then or I could just kill your wife, do you think someone wants her dead" The man asked.

"I wouldn't know" Cortez smirked. I took my AR15 off my shoulder and I aimed it at the man with black gloves. Laura set dispensers on the walls aimed at the rest of the guards. The dispensers had little knives in them which should kill all of them in one sweep. The man with black gloves walked over to Cortez's wife with a knife in his hand. He put the knife to her neck as the wife weeped.

"Please......stop" She begged.

"Curtis stop that is enough" A voice boomed. The man in black gloves turned to the voice. A woman stepped into the light.

"Helena this doesn't concern you, Henry told me to get the information" Curtis replied.

"Henry is dead. I am now in power Curtis, I am your boss" The woman replied.

"How has Henry passed and why was I not notified" Curtis barked.

"Because I killed him dumb ass and now you all are going to die except the Cortez's" Helena replied.

"How it's one woman versus the five of us" Curtis chuckled.

"Look around you Curtis what do you see" Helena said.

"Laura now" I said. I fired a bullet as she pressed the detonator. Knives flew through the air and penetrated the guards necks. My bullet flew past the knives dodging them swiftly before entering the skull of Curtis. The only people left in the room was the Cortez's, Helena and us. Everything went quiet for a moment. I cleared my chamber. I reloaded the magazine then I moved along the rafters to get above Helena. I closed up my AR15 and I dropped down with no sound. I pulled my khopesh off my back and I crept behind Helena. I put my blade to her stomach and I wrapped my arm around her neck.

"I was hoping you would show up" Helena said. I was flipped over her shoulder and I dropped my Khopesh. She put it to my neck then smirked "Slow as always".

She tore off her black hair wig revealing her true blonde hair. She tore off the suit she was wearing to reveal combat armor with a tattoo on her shoulder, just like mine.

"Victoria" I asked.

"Oh you remember me, well you should after what happened in Afghanistan" She replied. My mind flashed back.

I laid against the wall with my head pounding. A bullet had just entered my arm making a blood pool around me. Pally, Victoria, Luke and Sam were outside shooting at the enemy. My vision got blurry as my radio beeped.
