Chapter 6 (Were you two close)

I drove back to the gallows. Laura aka Moxxy asleep on my shoulder. I got out and picked her up. I carried her inside. I laid her down in a booth and I waited for pally. He walked out of his office then down the stairs. A man in a black suit followed him.

"Mason meet Don Alexi" Pally said. The man reached out his hand and I grabbed a hold of it.

"Nice to meet you sir" I said.

"So your the one that killed all those men at the crown royal hotel" Don Alexi said.

"Damn straight" I replied.

"Haha I like this guy. Welcome to the mob Mason or should I call you El Diablo" Alexi asked.

"Diablo I like more. Any more jobs you got for me" I asked.

"Well me and Alexi were talking and I think we got one though it may be an issue for you" Pally said.

"Why would it be a issue for me. As long as I get paid there won't be a problem" I replied.

"Diablo the payment isn't the issue it's the person" Alexi said.

"I'll kill anyone if you pay me enough" I replied.

"Alex. The man you worked with on the heist is causing a issue with our distribution business. It's ruining our work and we want him dead" Pally said.

"Have you tried to reason with him" I asked.

"Yes we have, but he killed our negotiators. Look if you don't want to kill him we will find another killer. If you do his address is in this envelope" Alexi said.

"How much" I asked.

"Your considering this. I am surprised. Even you have a soft spot" Pally said.

"Yeah well that has changed over the years. Now tell me how much" I asked.

"4 billion and if you can make it look like a accident I'll make it 8" Alexi said.

"You got a address" I asked.

"Let me check the database" Pally said. Pally walked back up the stairs to his office. Alexi stood waiting with his arms across his chest.

"So uh this guy in the Caribbean what happens after I kill him" I asked.

"What oh yes....Yang. Um after you are paid you will take higher paying jobs from us and you will be placed under our protection. Also you will be moved into a nicer apartment..more like a condo. A place to store your money and guns. As long as I'm alive you will be too" Alexi said. Pally walked back down the stairs with a paper in his hands.

"Here is the address. Do you know how long it will take you. A hour maybe longer. It won't take me long. I can make it look like another merc I know kill him" I replied. They both nodded then I left. I got in my car then I drove to the address. The shack was lit up by old lanterns. Inside Alex sat staring at a tv. I got out of my car and I opened my trunk. I pulled out a bowie knife and tucked it away in my jacket. I walked up to the shack door. I knocked on it waking Alex up. He opened the door with a beer in his hand.

"El Diablo what are you doing here" Alex asked.

"I'm sorry" I shoved my blade into his chest piercing his heart. Blood flowed from his mouth. I snapped his neck then I put john Deeres finger prints all over the place. I crashed the place before driving away. On the way back I saw cops fly by me. I parked at the gallows noticing a car was there that I had never seen before. I walked into the gallows and I saw three men with guns pointed at Alexi. Pally was out cold on the ground.

"Alexi I hear your planning on killing me friend in the carribean. I thought we had a deal" the man said.

"That was until you started poking into our business" Alexi retorted.
