/Chloe's pov./

A little later in the day I was still in room with Alex when Ava comes in. "Hey baby, what were you up to?" I ask she comes over and sits next to me. "Uncle Ciel let me stay with him while he was working!" She says happily I smile. Thank you Ciel. "That sounds fun." I say she nods. "It was! We talked and he let me write something for him!" She says. Ava has always been sharp. Not the Zach isn't smart, he just uses his brains in different ways. Ciel seems to not mind having Ava around becuase she is less of a trouble maker. She's not as much like her dad. "It sounds like you had a good time." I say she nods she lays her head on my arm and I rap it around her pulling her closer. "Do you want to go find your dad and Zach?" I ask she nods. We walk outside and downstairs and to the library where I see the cutest thing. Sebastian is letting Zachary help him clean and holding him up so he can reach. "How's my working boys?" I ask walking in Sebastian looks at me and puts Zach down. "I'm good, how's my favorite girls?" Sebastian says as we walk over to them Ava starts talking to Zach about helping Ciel and Zach talks about helping his dad I smile. "I'm always great as long as your near." I say rubbing my nose to his he smiles and kisses me which soon receives. "Eww, mom, dad." Zach and Ava says giving us faces Sebastian chuckles as we stop. "How is Alex?" He asks resting a hand on my waist. "He's doing fine, he's asleep." I say Sebastian kissing my forehead. "Good." He says the door soon opens and I turn to see someone I haven't seen for a while. "Uncle Claude!" The kids say the run over to him and hug his legs he looks down at them and shakes his head before kneeling down and picking them up before walking over. "Hey, long time no see." I say and hold in a laugh as Zach tries to take his glasses but of course fails. "Yes, Alois and I went on a business trip." He says Ava rests her head on his shoulder and Zach plays with his hair Sebastian laughs and walks over. "Here, let me help." He says taking Zach. Zach pouts a bit. "I see he still has his father's personality." Claude says I smile a little. "Yeah, just a bit." I say kissing Sebastian the kids whine and Claude shakes his head. "I actually agree with the childen, at least wait till I leave." He says Sebastian smirks. "No promises." He says Claude rolls his eyes. There's still a bit of tension there but not as much as there was before I got here, I guess you can say I brought them closer together. I still remember when I told him I was mated to Sebastian...

/flashback around four years/
(day after the last chapter of the first book)

"Sebastian... I'm nervous." I say pacing back and forth in the foyer playing with the ring on my finger. He sighs and stops me holding me by my shoulders. "Calm down, I'm sure it won't be that bad." He says I look to him. "Not that bad?" I ask. "I have to tell my brother that we... had sex, and then got mated without telling him." I finish in a whisper he chuckles slightly shaking his head. "What?" I ask. "You say that as if no one ever does it." He says I frown. "To Claude that won't matter. I'm his little sister." I say. "I know that." He says. "If your so worried just don't tell him yet." He says. "I can't do that." I say. "Why not?" Sebastian asks. "Because he will know!" I say. "Oh come on now." He says. "He will! When we were young he could always tell if I did something I wasn't suppose to do or that I'm hiding, it's like a sibling power or something, I don't know! All I know is that he will know!" I say. "Calm down your freaking out and while I find that amusing you need to stop." He says I frown and breath out. "If your going to tell him everything, are you going to explain to him that we are trying to have a baby?" He asks I gulp. "I... I think I'll save that for later." I say he shakes his head and kisses my forehead. "Whatever you wish Chloe." He says just then the door opens revealing Claude and Alois I take a deep breath trying to calm down moving away from Sebastian. "Hello Alois, Claude." I say. "Hello Chloe." Alois says. "Sebastian, why don't you escort Alois to Ciel's study?" I suggest he nods and does so I look at Cluade who is giving me a weird look. "What?" I ask. "Your glowing." He says I bite my lip. "What? I'm not glowing." I say. "Yes you are, and that's not normal for you." He says I clench my fist to hide the ring. "You can't be serious." He says. "What?" I ask. "I leave you here for one more day and he suduces you." He says I blush slightly. "It's not... completely like that." I say. "Oh really? You didn't do anything?" He asks I bite my lip. "Okay, we did. But it wasn't like he made me or anything like that." I say blushing a bit more he sighs. "Just wonderful." He sighs fixing his glasses. "There's more." I squeak quietly he looks back to me. "And that would be?" He asks I move my hand so my ring is visable. "We are mates." I say he frowns and rolls his eyes. "I can't believe, you mated to a Michaelis." He says I sigh. "Claude, I love him." I say he looks at me. He walks to me and holds my chin looking into my eyes he sighs. "If you... love him, then... congratulations." He says I smile and do something I don't even remember doing before... I hug my brother.
