Her Lifeline

Hey guys, how are you? Could you please play Lifeline by Kenny Holland and put it on repeat please? It not only describes the relationship between Kayden and Sam, but it's also the inspiration behind this chapter. Plus it's a really good song, I have it on repeat lol. Kayden just stayed silent, listening to Sam talk. She heard the knock downstairs on the front door, trying to find the strength to get up to cover herself up. She listened to her mother talk to him as he came into the house, not saying much as he walked upstairs. As she heard his footsteps, she finally found the strength to get up and go put on a bathrobe to cover her up, going to the door slowly and weakly to unlock it. As she did, Sam opened the door gently, instantly relaxing when he saw her and pulled her into his arms, putting words into the hug that he couldn't say. She hugged him back and wrapped her arms around his neck, slowly letting her tears out as she put her face into his neck. She broke down into sobs as she felt him tighten his arms, she was never shown this kind of love or kindness growing up. She never experienced the kind of love where people worried about her, the only people who showed her this was her fans, who she adorned more than words could explain.

Sam just held her as she sobbed into his neck. He shut the door with his foot as he gently lead her to the bed, still not breaking the hug. He pulled her into him as he laid on the bed, pulling her on top of him. She was his best friend and his heart, he cared way to much about her. Seeing her like this, broke his heart into million of pieces. He didn't like her in the way most people think he does, she was like a little sister and it killed him to think she didn't want to be alive. They have been there for each other through thick and thin. They've been through everything with each other, if she was hurting, so was he and it was the same way for Kayden too. Sam was her lifeline. Without him, she wouldn't be alive right now, which she barley was.

As Kayden slowly calmed down, Sam pulled away slightly to look at her. "Are you okay? We need to go to the hospital, Kaybear. We need to get this stuff out of you and make sure you're okay." She looked up at him, sniffling as she nodded. "I'm okay and I know. Help me get dress please, Sammy." She whispered to me as she wiped her tears away. He nodded as he help her sit on the bed, getting up himself to get some clothes for her to change into. He got out sweat pants and one of his shirts that he left at her house, walking back to the bed and handed her the clothes. "Help me stand, please Sam." She said as he nodded, helping her stand and holding her up because she was getting weak again. He closed his eyes as she took off the robe and put on her under garments then her shirt that went to her thighs. "I don't think I can put on the sweats by myself." She said softly to him as he opened his eyes. "I got you Kayden." He helped her put on the sweats, sitting her on the bed then helping her stand again. "C'mon, let's go to the hospital." He said as he gets her phone then helps her out to his car. "I won't let go. You're my lifeline, I'll stay for you. Don't go, please Sam. You're my lifeline." She told him as she got into the car, looking at him frantically, hoping he wasn't going anywhere. "Kay, I'm not going anywhere, I'm here for life. But don't stay for me, stay here for you. Stay alive for yourself and your future. Everyone is gonna have bad days, even I have bad days, but please don't give up. For yourself. You have so much to live for." He kissed her forehead as tears welled up in her eyes. "I will, I'll do anything to stay alive. This was a mistake." Kayden said as she put on her seat belt, watching as Sam shut the door then jogged to his side of the car, getting in and shutting the door.

He turned on the car and backed out of her house, starting to drive to the hospital, reaching over and placing her hand on her leg. She instantly found his hand and intertwined their fingers together, gently squeezing his hand as she leaned back in the seat. She sighed as her eyes felt very heavy. She knew that was just because of the pills. She let her thoughts wander as she looked out the window, struggling to stay awake as Sam drove as fast as he could without getting a ticket.

About 30 minutes later, they finally arrived at the hospital, Sam finding a parking spot and then helping Kayden walk into the Emergency Room. Sam helped her sit in a chair then went to the front desk to ask for help for Kayden. As he did, Kayden unlocked her phone and went onto Twitter, making a tweet to let her fans know what was going on. "Tonight was the worst night of my life, but I'm gonna be okay. Thank you too @sampottorff for finding me and just being here for me. I  love each and everyone of all💗 stay safe my angels😘💛" She then tweeted it out and then checked her DMs, seeing messages from tons of fans and then the one from Deigo. She clicked on it instantly and read it, biting her lip as she typed out a reply. "Hi Diego. You didn't do anything, I just did something that I probably shouldn't have. I'm so sorry for worrying you, I'm okay now. I'm at the hospital with Sam, he somehow knew to come check on me and he brought me here. But I'll be okay, thank you for messaging me and also for more than likely for messaging Sam. Xxx" she sent the message then locked her phone, putting it in her pants as doctors came out to help her in a stretcher, taking her straight back with Sam following closely behind.

But I'm better now and I'M BACK BABY!!
