chapter 6/ New Pets

Well, sorry for not updating any of my stories for a while. I have no excuse, I just didn't update. And for those of you who asked for an update schedule I don't really have one. I update when I get around to it, but you guys are allowed to spam the comments or my account with saying "update" after a week of not updating. I will then get annoyed enough to get up off my lazy but and update.

Natsu P.O.V.

Oh my Mavis, the demons are so fucking adorable. I started to fangirl about their cuteness in my head while just grinning on the out side. I walked up to the demons and kneeled down and held my hand out. "Natsu what the hell are you doing?" I heard Laxus yell worriedly. "SHhhhhh." Was my great reply. the Wolf came up to me and sniffed my hand with the two tailed fox following after it slowly. As soon as my hand touched the demons heads I felt a magical connection form between me and them. "Laxus don't harm them." I said as I slowly pet the demon's soft, patterned fur. "Why aren't we supposed to kill them?" He asked. "No the guy said to 'Eliminate the threat,' and that is what I'm doing." Laxus hesitantly nodded at my answer and backed off. Laxus then proceeded to try and walk up to me, but the wolf started growling at Laxus until he backed off.

"Hey Laxus I think they like me." I said with an amused tone. All I got in return was a blank look that read "No really." I laughed at him and then started to pet the fox when I felt a rope appear that happened to have a note attached to it. I looked at it and it read,

Dear Natsu,

You can not even imagine how much I miss you right now. I miss your funny personality that made my failed creations seem ok. Anyway these demons are a birthday gift for you past several birthdays that I have missed. I hope you enjoy them, and by the way they are the only chaos and emperor fire demons out there. They are yours and you can create a telepathic link with them if you wish. Goodbye.

I laughed after finishing the note, But then noticed that the number in the P.S. line was counting down. 'Shiz he was serious about that.' Right at the last second I threw the letter in the air as it exploded. "What was that?" Said a suddenly alert Laxus. "Just a fire explosion from somewhere." I said casually. He just nodded. "We should head back and complete the mission then so we can go back to the hotel." Laxus said. I nodded and stood with the demons following after me as we walked back into the town. While walking through the town people ran away from us because we had the demons by our side. I stopped, "Everybody STOP!!" I screamed. The villagers all stopped and looked at me with fear, while Laxus shot me a confused look. "These guys won't hurt you, they are with me now. And if they do hurt you it will only be because you hurt them first. They will be leaving town with us in two days so calm down and chill." I said. The villagers still looked scared, but hesitantly stopped running around and went back to there day, with just a bit more tenseness than normal.

After, that happened we slowly made our was back to the client's house. "You do relies that the client will probably scream and not want to pay us, right?" I heard Laxus ask. "Hey Mr. Hud asked us to eliminate remember." I said while turning down the next street. Laxus just shrugged and continued walking next to me. When we walked into the clients house he was waiting for us in his living room. He looked startled when the demons followed me into his living room. "I thought I told you to eliminate the problem?" he asked with fear leaking in his voice. "We did, they will be coming with me to my guild as my new partners." I said with annoyance clear in my voice. He slowly went to hand us the pay before ushering us out of his house.

"Well at least we got paid." I said getting a sigh from Laxus. "Well I'm hungry, want to get some food?" I asked trying to cheer Laxus up. "Sure but I don't think they will allow your pets into any restaurants." Laxus says. "Well then I guess I will just have to cook for us then." I said with cheer. Laxus nodded. When we got back to the house I decided to cook up some curry for us and steak for my new companions.

Time Skip (till going back to Fairytail)

Well after touring around for a while it was finally time to head back to Magnolia. After meeting back up with the rest of Laxus's team We had a miserable train ride back home. Finally on our way back to the guild, I started thinking of what my new companions names are. Hmmmmmm, I'll find out later. I looked back up and saw the guild, and my face took on a big grin. I jogged up to the doors and opened them only to see a foot flying at my face. I quickly grabbed his foot and threw him at the wall. The others in the guild laughed at this and then took notice of my new companions and started awing. I then headed to where Laxus was siting with his team and began to talk to them.

After a while I started to look around and see what the others are doing. Gray was running around and doing what looked like, looking for his clothes. Cana was stealing peoples beer while they weren't looking, and Mira was fighting with Erza. Life was once again peaceful.

But how long will peace last.
