Get out

I wake up in my living room. How'd I get here? I look up from the floor with my weary eyes and see Caylin and Emma. I try to sit up but I'm in too much pain.

"Lucy? Are you okay? What happened"

Caylin said grabbing me. I flinched in pain.

"Don't crowd her"

Emma said realising I was in pain.

"I..I'm confused. What happened?"

I asked. My head was pounding.

"I'm not too sure but we were walking back to my car from picking up caylins niece and we saw you lying on the floor at the bus terminal"

Emma said. It all came flooding back. My whole body ached. I sat up.

"Where are you going?"

Caylin asked

"I need the bathroom"

I said standing up. I made my way slowly towards my bathroom. I opened the door and walked in. I looked in the mirror. I had a massive black eye. My legs felt like jelly and my ribs hurt. I walk out again and into the living room.

"I'm not going out with jack anymore"

I stated.

"Is this because of the black eye because we can cover that up! A bit of foundation never goes a miss"

Emma said.

"I don't want to go out with him, okay?"

I snapped a bit more angrily than intended.

"Lucy, it's okay"

Caylin said putting her hand on my shoulder.

"No it's not. Can you please message jack on Facebook or whatever and tell him I'd rather not"

I said.

"What changed your mind? You are so into him"

Caylin asked.

"Get out"

I said.

"What?"

Emma asked.

"GET OUT"

I shouted.

"Lucy you are in pain and your parents are away, wouldn't it be better if we stayed"

Caylin said.

"NO LEAVE"

I shouted. They quickly scurried out the door. I lent up against the wall and began to cry. My whole body was in pain. I didn't want to be hurt anymore. It wasn't worth going out with jack just to be beaten up. I'm not the most popular/prettiest girl in our school.
