I got into his car and turned up the radio.

"What the hell happened to your eye and Why you wearing your glasses? I didn't even know you had glasses."

He said examining my eye.

"Erm i fell and I have headaches."

I said trying to act like nothing happened.

"Who was it?"

He asked.

"What?"

I asked as if I was confused.

"You know what I mean."

He said sternly

"Nothing, it's fine"

I said. After that it was an awkward silence. we got out the car and walked into school. Many people looked at me. I tried to cover it up best as I could but it was useless. Jack began walking up to me and put his arm around me. I quickly pushed it away.

"What's wrong?"

Jack asked

"Nothing, did the girls not tell you?"

I said

"Tell me what?"

He asked confused.

"I can't go out with you tonight"

I said. I got a lump in my throat. He's like the perfect boy and I'm rejecting him. All because of skylar. You know what I'm not going to let them do this to me.

"In fact scratch that. Ill see you at 6:30"

I said. A smile appeared on his face.

"What happened to your eye?"

He asked.

"It doesn't matter"

I said. He put his arm around my waist and we walked to class together. I sat down in English.
