A political man with a Harvard education,
Born to help lead the nation.
Failing as a brewer and newspaper publisher was key,
For Samuel Adams to find an occupation in politics to form the Sons of Liberty.
With insane taxes the colonies drown,
So they tried to find a way to overthrow the crown.
The Sons of Liberty opposed the taxes the British put into act,
They stood up for what they believed in and fought back.
So they came up with a plan to dump the tea,
Three ships and 342 chests dumped overboard on December 16, 1773.
