Chapter 1

My name is Lindsey Ann Mary. I am the daughter of Slender man, king of the Monster Realms. My mother was queen, yet she mysteriously was killed. I have a older brother, Malick who is soon to be next in the royal family. He takes after mother. I take after my father. I am a close friend to Star Butterfly, princess of Mewnians. I ran away from my father to go with Star to Earth. And now, I'm with Marco and his family.

I woke up in the morning at 5 as usual and got out of bed. I got on my bathrobe and wrapped it around my body. It was cold in the mornings. I look to the side, where Star remained sleeping. I sighed. I then walked onto the balcony and sat down on the garden chair. I waited for the sun to rise. The mornings on Earth are different than the monster realms. They're calm and quiet, birds chirp, the air seems so fresh, and all the people are so silent, dancing in their dreams and enjoying the warmth of their sheets. I could see a hint of light coming up from the mountains. I felt a hand on my shoulder. Star.

"Lindsey, early again?"

"Of course Star, I want to see the sunrise, it's just, so majestic."

"Of course, mind if I sit next to you?"

I nodded and moved to the side of the chair. She sat down and sighed a little. We both sat there quietly.

"Lindsey...what do you think your dad might be doing now?"

I looked at her.

"I don't know..and I don't want to know, I like it here. And he can't bring me back without a fight."

She looked at me sadly. Then, I heard my phone ringing. I got up and opened my phone. Malick was calling me. I knew that if I answered, they would easily track me down. I shut my phone off and head back to the balcony.

"Who was it Lindsey?"

"My brother, Malick."

"Oh."

I sat down beside her to enjoy the rest of my morning before getting prepared for school.

~Time skip~

I was in my favorite outfit and headed downstairs. I saw Mr. and Mrs. Diaz sitting down and eating their breakfast.

"Morning, Mr and Mrs Diaz"

They looked back and smiled.

"Good morning sweetie! How are you on this splendid morning?"

"Very well, thank you very much."

I used one of my tentacles to open the fridge and pull out the carton of milk. With another tentacle, I opened the cupboard and took out a glass. I filled up the glass and drank. Marco came downstair, tired and slumped.

"Mornin, mom, mornin dad."

"Hello hon, are you okay? You seem, ill."

"No,no, I'm good."

He sat in his chair where his breakfast laid. He took his fork and ate slowly. His face was pale and he had black, baggy eyes.

"Guess who's coming today!?"

Star came down running.

"Star, darling please walk down the stairs slowly, we don't want you hurting yourself again!"

She nodded and placed a piece of bread in the toaster. I watched her as she slowly got her milk and slowly got her glass. I laughed.

"Star she meant  when going down the stairs, not when you're walking."

She giggled.

"I know Just wanted to-"

BAM

"What was that?!"

I ran to the window. Ludo.

"Star Butterfly, I am here to take that wand of yours!"

I opened the door and came out.

"You're gonna have to go past me to get it. If you want it so bad."

I saw him tremble a little. His monsters as well. I chuckled.

"Get ready, to have a bad time."

My eyes turned red and the tentacles formed.
